The full program gives SO MUCH MORE detail and information on every aspect of the golf game. And Paul has earned our membership with all the content he gives away for free! I am not affiliated with Paul and have not yet met or spoken with him, but his program has changed my golfing life so I feel like I owe him! Mr Wilson, my wife says next time we’re in Vegas I can get an in person lesson with you so I can’t wait!
Thank you for your support and promo to others. I truly appreciate it. Definitely look me up if you can make it to town. It would be great to meet and work with you.
Paul, I can’t thank you enough. I have been through lots of swings, and lots of teachers, but I just never felt like I had a dependable repeatable swing. Thanks to you, I DO! And it is simple! Your swing requires very few swing thoughts and no body torquing positions. I am hitting it purer and father, but mainly: more accurate! All with an ever so slight DRAW- which is the exact opposite of my previous weak fade. Thank you thank you, thank you!!
I bought the package from Paul 8 weeks ago, changed my game totally.I was a 12 handicap and moving in the wrong direction,Iam 57 years old living in spain.Last week I won the annual club championship shooting 76 (4 over par) and scoring 45 stableford points no one was within 5 shots of me,this was my best ever round by 5 shots. You don’t need lessons if you listen to Paul and then practice a little.Iam now a 8 handicap. My game still needs to be more consistent but now I expect to make at least par,and one other point Paul´s simple approach to bunker shots now makes me super confident in bunkers which helps my scrambling immensely .
This is a tricky one. People hate it yet it helps fix a chicken wing etc. Glad you liked my shanking tip. Can you please post a comment over on that tip. Just want people to know how many hundreds of shankers I have fixed. Thanks, Here is the tip: ua-cam.com/video/m9kj0548rYw/v-deo.html
This drill cured it for me. I would get a divot maybe 1 out of 100 iron swings. I swore I never chicken winged but after this drill I am getting consistent divots. Thank you again Paul!
Nice work! Curing the chicken wing is huge. Everyone complains about it yet few even work on it. Curing this will take your swing to a whole new level.
Absolutely loving your videos Paul. In part because you are describing and refining little things I've noticed that seemed to help but I could not put my finger on why or how to replicate. For example, early this spring I was at the range and it was cold. I only had a down vest in the car so I put it on. I had been working specifically on compression and getting my arms out of the swing with moderate success. However, the day with the vest produced the best iron shots in my life. All hyperbole aside, compression, distance, even divots (that I never take) were there. I assumed it was related to me feeling like a single unit since I could feel the vest w/my arms and sub-coconsciously I was keeping that feeling through the entire swing. However, I could not repeat that day. I was encouraged and frustrated at the same time. However, yesterday your tip here helped answer the question, gave me a great visual, helped me regain some of those shots and let me stop wearing a down vest in 100 degree Utah weather. :) It just worked. Again...thank you!
Getting it to stick is tricky. Once we get it we want more and more and the arms creep in. Keep thinking swing at 50% if you lose it. Your 50% is 70-80% which is where you need to be swinging. Go beyond that and the ball could literally go anywhere. Watch: ua-cam.com/video/cNhIyhi136E/v-deo.html Exciting times ahead but stay focused. Do daily practice swings so you memorize the feeling of not hitting anything. You've got this.
Glad to head someone is not going to hand up their clubs for the winter. I cannot stress how important it it to do practice swings. If you hang up the clubs you will literally have to relearn all of this stuff when you start the new season. So that means you will be working on your swing when you should be playing great golf. For the sake of a few minutes per day you really can build a great swing.
Will give it a try. You fixed my driver and fairway wood swings. But I keep pushing my irons right and weak. Not sure why? Also, at times shank my chips?
You are either sliding or holding the face open. Hinge and rehinge to get them loosened up. Turn more to get rid of the slide (if you are sliding). ua-cam.com/video/5_O0H2QNFo0/v-deo.html
awesome i been hitting my iron a lot better since i began giving you a real go i been playing good...i went through some times i could only hit draw an hooks i could not fade the ball nomatter how hard i tried..i figured out i had the ball to far foward in my stance i kept hitting ground behind the ball.i swing the club i seen were the bottom of my swing was at i moved the ball back to that spot an bam my game was transformed.i stopped the drills an lost my game i had to get back to drills an right away i started hitting the ball good again
my problem is i still find myself like getting to fast an not swing good..i felt myself using my arms again ... i tell myself just relax you getting to excited trying to hard just swing like a woman all i need to play with
Hey Paul I have a Question for you…I was hitting the new qi10 HL irons and I had the KBS max lite regular flex shaft in it. Standard length and lie. The fitter had face tape on it also. I hit out of the middle sweet spot perfect like 10 balls in row with a 180 avg carry 7 iron. My clubhead speed is decent. I was like I’m sold…I don’t need to hit anymore balls. Hitting it right out of the center perfectly…so pure of hits and compressing it and dining it on the face tape. The fitter then told me I needed a stiff shaft because of my swing speed. He said I would get more control. I tried the stiff and then i started toeing it and having mishits. Felt like I was wrestling it whereas the regular felt as you say “effortless”. Does it matter what flex it is if I am striping it? I figured the most consistent yardage and flight will be the from most consistent strike. And I don’t care if it’s regular, senior, stiff/x-stiff…I care how pure I hit the ball. This was @ local Golf Galaxy. I’m curious…What are your thoughts?
You were toeing it cause you were coming out of it trying to see what results this stiff shaft would have on your shots. I would go with the shafts that you liked. There is no standard for shafts. Once companies stiff may be another companies regular.
Funny timing on this video. I’ve been working on proper body tilts for impact as well as getting the club fully extended two feet pass the impact zone and my arms feel WAY closer together than I’m used to at that point on the swing. Would this be the correct feeling?
as soon as I started taking my wrists OUT of my swing ( just a feel for me ), I finally started compressing the ball. When I use my wrists too much, I scoop the ball and I am way too wristy. the feel for me is no intentional hinging or unhinging of the wrists in the downswing. the less I feel my wrists are doing in my swing , the better my ball flight, compression and distance.
The wrists are a piece of the swing. If you only use them with no body you shots aren't going to be perfect. The stages would be get the wrists working by hinging and rehinging. Once you do that you have unlocked your wrists. At this point you would switch to coiling and uncoiling your body. If your body isn't working you are only using your arms which as you know doesn't work. So sound to me like as you stopped trying to use the wrists your body turned on and get you hitting the ball better. You can't get compression unless you are doing something right. So keep doing what you are doing.
I guess it would be. You can certainly use one of them too. You need to get on it. Fix that an you take you whole game to a new level. ua-cam.com/video/u2SktWUESaA/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/DkD29OArc88/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/7o65z_pd28s/v-deo.html
This is not a criticism at all. I'm working hard on Paul's system. I do get a little confused when asked to turn off the arms and then perform an arms move though. The shallowing the club video too. Does turning off the arms and rotating the hips do these things naturally?
There is no way just turning your arms off is going to get you to do perfect positioning. This means you need to work on certain things. Once you get the positions you would then turn your arms off. Shallowing the club you would be doing this manually thinking about it. Yes, if you completely stopped hitting and used your body this would happen but I know you are not going to do this. So instead of me waiting 5 years for you to get it I want you to manually do it. Train it. Then it will happen on its own. Total time maybe a week or two. Get it?
So I got my skytrak today. I'm doing good except I have rediculius launch angle. Like 35 degrees with an 8 iron at club head speed of 65. I'm trying to lower it but I can't figure it out. I tried all the things in this video. 🤷🏻♂️
