Hi there. I want to tell you, last year at the Ocean Race I saw the Sea Explorer passing by, I live close to the coast in Brazil and there's a place a bit north of Rio that they usually pass by really close to shore, that was so exciting, I hope this time I manage to see them again!
Fantastic!!!! This is like being really a part of it all. It transfers all emotions that it means to work with and to enjoy the forces of nature. Great cut. I know some elements I think but you made a movie out of it. I will directly share this with my swimming mate as I often may bore her with Updates...😂😂😂😂
The whole video is just class.. so nice seeing no sails and fresh from the production line.. pure racing machine. What would you think the cost of these are ?
Great footage . Thank you for posting. Question: Will the boats get faster as they get lighter or will less ballast mean they can’t fly as much sail area?
@@SeawolvesTV Sounds like in this day and age it would be relatively easy to put an automated system to at least give overboard skippers a chance of getting back on board. PS Love your show!
I was rooting for this guy untill I realised that PAPREC is the same company that wants to deposit 2 million tons of toxic waste right next to my village, Tourtour in Provence. Now I hope , well never mind.
Designing, building and operating such boats requires very deep pockets. Unfortunately such pockets often have dubious morals. Such is the nature of immense wealth.
@@tedoud4738 They mismanage the waste irresponsably to make maximum profits. Why should one tiny village situated in a national parc, recieve the waste from the whole south of france? Its absurd. They just figure we're too dumb to protest. Another issue is that the whole agro industrial complex, of which PAPREC is part, here encourages waste. A yogurt is encased in 3 layers of packaging, one can buy peeled oranges in plastic. Anything to keep buisiness rolling. We need to do better.
Working from home has its perks 🙂Couldn't click fast enough! Great video
Thank you :)

The strength and stiffness of those foils are insane.
Love the shots of the boat getting wet for the first time!
I was out on a put-put boat today on Moreton Bay, Brisbane, Australia. We were doing about 4 knots. Can't imagine 29 or 30 knots!
I’ll sailing out of RQYS Manly on the weekend. Will be doing 10 knots on the dial but in my imagination we will be screeching along at 29 knots 😊
Wow, absolutely stunning. Great clip

Camera stabilisers make it look much smoother than it is.
Good thinking to lift the hull above the water...

Do these boats have any automatic system on board to slow/stop the boat should the skipper fall overboard? 😮
no

Do they produce the waste or are they responsible to manage the waste produced by others?
