I think it's a pretty great video given the poster's resources. I'd rather have great video lacking an even mix than no video at all. At the very least, be glad that Erick went out and made a tight video. At least now you can hear an interesting bass-heavy version of these songs :P
were you there man? my whole group, plus a couple other people i talked to agreed the mix was incredibly bass heavy. this sounds fairly accurate to what i heard no matter where i stood in the crowd.
Sorry guys but the sound guy and the mic's have nothing to do with this. This is what you get when you have a recording from the front left of the stage. The camera is right next to the bass amp. A better solution would have been to film in the middle of the audience. Then you get the proper mix but the vid wouldn't have been as cool. I think they did pretty good for recording HD vid and decent audio.
I like the way the bass is actually audible.
dude thanks a lot for posting this, I maybe will not have the chance to see this band live ever, so this kind of videos are awesome
I like the way nick looks like a regurgitating bird when he really gets in the groove
aw yeah John in a Zach hill shirt siiiiick

@@LeviDozier you're lucky you got to go to it!
:D
The guitar/vocals need to be louder. Not that I don't like the bass but it's not the most important thing in the mix.
