It also got 200+ FPS on forza horizon 4.
Jeez, you buy the card, smash it in a black box that lives under a desk, for most it doesn't matter a jot and we would rather save money having ZERO RGB which does nothing for gaming performance which is what a GPU is meant to do. Same with stupid RGB memory.
Can't answer that for you, unfortunately. It's a ripoff, but buying any new card nowadays is a ripoff. If you can wait for prices to drop, then wait. If you can't wait then 1K isn't the worst price I've seen these selling for.
I just got one yesterday, but it runs hot even with all the fans facing a full-length vented side panel in a Cooler Master RC-130-KKN1 Elite 130 - Mini-ITX Computer Case. I already swapped out the small side panel fan with a full-size 120mm x 25mm Noctua case fan. I think I'm going to have to add a top fan as well. Temperatures were running into the mid-80 degC while playing Halo Infinite, which I understand is a GPU hog. This PC only runs a Ryzen 7 3700X, while my other PC runs a Ryzen 9 5900X and an Asus Tuf Gaming Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti OC Edition gpu, and those temperatures are 20 degC cooler on both the CPU and GPU. This Gigabyte RTX 3070 does NOT run cool. I'm looking at returning this card and getting another Asus Tuf Gaming Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti OC Edition instead.

@@GravityRush found out the Cooler Master case was the reason for all the GPUs I had in there getting way too hot, and I had 3 different ones in there., With the Gigabyte GPU getting the hottest. It has poorly vented side panels that restrict airflow. I've since returned it to Amazon.

@@TheTechTank i mean i cant even run cyberpunk on low setting with my current pc do it would be a good upgrade
My friend builds new pc and sells me his rtx3070 for 300€ couldn’t find a better bargain,I was ready to buy rx 7600
I see this gpu between 3060 ti, not too much increase in performance between this card and 3060 ti what do you thing? should i get this gpu or buy 3060 ti for save money
I would recommend waiting until early next year if you can before buying a new GPU. The new AMD cards are arriving at the end of the year, so I'm expecting prices to drop for all older cards after that. If you can't wait, then the 3060 Ti is solid, especially if it's much cheaper than the 3070.
"We do see the numbers tank..haha..." lol xD my man
I've got this card in my computer, in glad I picked it up when I did for $530 now it goes for $1000. But yeah I'll agree it's a pretty dull looking card. The RGB control on the side is also terrible and doesn't sync up at all with my fans, ram, and cpu cooler. But that being said it's able to do 1080p cyberpunk cranked all the way up at over 144 FPS. It also got 200+ FPS on forza horizon 4.
Dang, $530 was an absolute steal all things considered! Happy to hear you're having fun with it, regardless of aesthetics, it's still a great card.
The cheapest I've seen this card is $1,050.

"Begging my senpais to notice me"
Hopefully they don't unnotice me because of the title 🤣
Bought mine for usd 750. With the srp here in my Asian country being usd 615, uh it's decent.
That's not too bad, all things considered...
@@TheTechTank yikes I got it for 500
@@tituskbm 2 years tho
Jeez, you buy the card, smash it in a black box that lives under a desk, for most it doesn't matter a jot and we would rather save money having ZERO RGB which does nothing for gaming performance which is what a GPU is meant to do. Same with stupid RGB memory.
Should I get it for 1k?
This was the hottest 3070 I've tested, but it wasn't THAT hot... Maybe something's up with the fan profile. Have you tried setting a manual one yet?
That’s weird. I got the Rev 2 and even playing Warzone at 1440p medium/high settings I don’t think I’ve ever seen my card go past 75 C. And running other games such as Fortnite results in even cooler temps.
@@GravityRush found out the Cooler Master case was the reason for all the GPUs I had in there getting way too hot, and I had 3 different ones in there., With the Gigabyte GPU getting the hottest. It has poorly vented side panels that restrict airflow. I've since returned it to Amazon.
Mine is very cool, tops about 70-73 degrees in 100% high fps load in a SPC RG6V case
@@l.i.archer5379 if u got a new case, what were the temps after?
I’dk I have Asus tuf and I’m not getting that better number then this may be 5 frame higher so I paid more for 5 frame 😣
You paid more for better temperatures, and thus better overclocking capabilities, and better looks. They're the same GPU, so you can't expect more than a 2-5% increase in performance from any model compared to any other model.
Dude how does this compare with the asus tuf gaming oc? I don't know which one to get!!!
I'd get the Tuf Gaming. Better cooler performance at the expense of more fan noise, but worth it IMO. I also think the TUF looks amazing, and its all-metal construction is really dope.
@@TheTechTank Cool, it's out of stock atm, guess I'll wait then...thanks for replying dude, subbed.
Just bought one refurbished for 399 with newegg
That's a damn good deal right there!
I don't think there was any scientist on the other side of that phone call. I don't even think it was a phone. DISLIKED FOR MISINFORMATION!
This is fake news. There was 100% a scientist on the line, His name's Dr. Ian, and he told me that he's very disappointed in you and that you need more fiber in your diet.
Mine began to die a year after buying it new.
RIP. Hope they sent you a replacement.
the cooling is quite good for the price, but damn is it ugly
well boohoo the aorus one is 1.1k compared to this one for 800 not much to expect mate
*rubs like for this video on my sweater*
🤣
*Cries in 1050*
Better than integrated graphics at least 🤣😭
@@TheTechTank Yeah for sure, but I'll be upgrading as soon I can get a card remotely close to MSRP.
@@dominik12345654321 I really hope that's sometime pretty soon, but with the way things are looking now, I'm not quite seeing the light.
bro should of gotten the oc2
Don't think it was available at the time of filming.
Is a pretty damn awesome video 👌
I do not buy a card for looks.
That's great. Other people do though so it's worth talking about.
Alot of people have gotten into RGB nowadays so I think it is worth talking about, but yeah I'm in the same boat too not too concerned for looks just raw performance....
@@viruscure4677 Nothing wrong with that. Should've added video chapters so people can skip the looks discussion.
He is this card Better than a virus Gefore 3080 I am getting into pc gaming don’t know which to pic
A 3080 no matter which version will always perform better than the 3070.
Sorry for my bad English earlier but I was confused as it was for more money on the nzxt custom build so I was confused
