    I love this! Perfect speed for teaching - I am very Irish and am trying to learn the stitches in my family clan’s pattern and honestly expected the honeycomb pattern to be difficult. I’m watching on my lunch break but I can’t wait to go home and try it!

    This was exactly what I needed! I was having quite a bit of trouble visualizing the process, so thank so much for clearly breaking down each step! I can’t wait to try it out myself 😁

    Thanx for the explanation! I tried this with the ribble stitch in between the hexagons and that looks cool too. Next experiment wil be this in fishermans stitch and larger and smaller.

    Each of the cable row do I alternate c4b with c4f on row three or is it c4b all the way down then row seven? I heard you say c4f / c4b for row seven so I just want to make sure I don't mess it up could I get this printed for me please? I'm hearing impaired and just want to make this as bday gifts thank you.

    searched soooo long for this pattern, didn't know it was called that way... LOL. But i also saw a lace version of this, i mean just the "embossed" cables with holes instead of the stockinette "backgroud". how would you create that?

    Does it have to be a long-tail cast-on? What would happen if you used a "normal" cast-on?

    • @Panic_Pickle
      @Panic_Pickle 6 років тому

      Cait Roberts would still work, but it. The long tail is more stretchy. The old Norwegian (I think that’s what it’s called, aka German Twist) cast on is even stretchier.

    a hat with this design. i did knitted in the past. but it was not as i expected it. would you please help me what kind of needle i need to use. The yarn I use is worsted weight. 4Ply/ Net wt 6 oz. 170 g.

  • @TheBarefootShoemaker

    Do I knit it the same in the round?

    • @Panic_Pickle
      @Panic_Pickle 6 років тому +1

      TheBarefootShoemaker yeah but invert every second row. So when it says purl on wrongside rows, knit. When it says knit on the wrongside rows, purl. Also, take wrongside instructions and mirror them. Because in the round you are always knitting frontside, in one direction rather than turning and going back and forth.

    • @Panic_Pickle
      @Panic_Pickle 6 років тому

      Also C4B becomes C4F and vice versa on on wrongside rows
