    >dont carry a lighter
    >supposedly carries a battery, a thin piece of foil and a cottonball
    seems legit.

      But you do understand you are not the "normality" right? Do not take it the wrong way, i am not trying to make fun of you, seriously.
      But there are more chances statistically that a lighter would be carried rather than a battery, a piece of thin foil and some cotton. Do you get me?

    please god if you are going to clean a disk DO NOT SCRUB and DO NOT DO IT IN CIRCLES because that will destroy your disks faster than you'd believe. If using a banana to "fix" a disk drag lightly from the inside out in a straight line then when wiping off do it in the exact same manner.

      The data is distributed in circles radiating out from the center. But going straight outwards from the middle, you avoid potentially disrupting those data channels. Either way, if it's super important too you, rip it to a HDD or take it someplace to be resurfaced. The banana trick is a sticky waste of time. Same toothpaste, sure it might help a bit, but it's not a magic cure-all.
      Source- I managed a video store for 3 years.

      My source is my father is an electronic technician that works for the faa. he has been doing so for my entire life (19 years) and because of this reasonably so know a sh*t ton about electronics such as, airliners, cars, computers, radar equipment, and so on so a small thing like cleaning disks is common knowledge to him and me by extension (for the record yes been working in that field since before I was born so)

    The keys don't have to be silver. Almost all keys are made of plated brass. The only key you'll ever find that's made of silver, would be a VERY old skeleton key.

    #6: There are two problems: 1.) Sufficient strength of the magnets, and 2.) Getting the magnet out of the bottle. It just seems like too much work.
    #4: Just make sure that the sole of the shoe is thick enough…
    #3: This is a good one!

    • @TheWickkit
      @TheWickkit Рік тому

      Neodymium magnets, especially the size of the ones in the video are sufficiently strong enough, no problem, I love this idea for certain bottles because it does save time for me getting the nooks and crannies of certain bottles, especially if they've got little grooves and dipped, concave spots or if i can't get the lip below the neck where it gets wider. VERY HELPFUL! On #4, I thought the exact same thing! I think at this point, I'd rather spend the $20 on the slip on ice cleats cause those you can take off when you get into a store and start slipping all over the floor like Bambi on ice! Also, no chance of stabbing your foot with a staple!

    I love these hacks! Very useful! I love your channel so much more than any of the others with similar content of any sort, actually this is the first life hacks one I've seen by you, (I sorta rely on the you tube algorithm to throw up suggestions for me) but I'd definitely love to see more!
    P.S. Spray on turtle wax, like for a car, works great on scratched discs that are skipping and no sticky, wasted banana mess to deal with. Just make sure to use a super soft, non abrasive cloth to wipe it away with of course!
    Also, the soda can doesn't "boost" your wifi signal, it just takes the existing signal that is broadcast out in a 360° radius and bounces it off the barrier you created so more of it can reach the directions in front of the barrier. I used this years ago in a long single wide trailer to keep my wifi signal on our side stronger rather than loose half of it going towards the neighbors, it worked great!

    You can clean bottles BETTER with rice. Put rice, soap, and water in the bottle, close it, then shake intensely. The rice will scrub the sides and clean it al lot better than a loose sponge. Plus you don't have to find and buy magnets.
