@@russotusso1695 not really, alot of people died back then and the cars, were deathtraps the late 1990's and early 2000's are the most fitting for that title

It's true actually, but SLRE is still more realistic because of tarmac physics, weight physics and suspension simulation. I mean, simulation and arcade are just two ways to approach some results. Project CARS is pure simulation in every way, but it isn't completely realistic. Assetto Corsa is arcady, but it's more realistic than Project CARS. Same goes to RBR vs SLRE.
Many people told Richard wasnt as fast as colin or whatsoever but the truth is Richard was more close than colin has ever been to win this rally. After a frustrating 2000 in which he won 4 rallies (could be more if it wasnt due majorly of reliability) but lost the title, richard took a much more conservative approach for 2001, the result?, a single victory in New Zealand, but with a good amount of consistency resulting in the only title he got. Richard wasnt a flamboyant as Colin but was very very mental he knew the value of points in the title race and for him the most important thing was to win the War not the battles, only god will know how would the 2003 championship ended if he had took part in Wales....
I imagine he would of won the 2004 season with Subaru, since he would of closely developed the car enough, which suits his driving style. It's a damn shame what happened to him. :(
Quality over quantity - that sums up Burns' 2001 title win. Many say that more wins should matter more, but IMO consistency is the key - Keke Rosberg won only once in 1982, but was consistent enough to win the F1 title the same year.
Agreed. But what I like about him is that he made the Impreza WRC so popular alongside McRae and Solberg, but different generations though. The mean-eye, bug-eye, and the blob-eye is definitely my favorite Impreza of the WRC.
"Almost a week without a good night sleep, Richard Burns dug deep..." Anyone know the story behind that, what was going on with Richard? Being sick, insomnia or what? Just found that little thing interesting.
Never liked him. He was the only one who refused to talk to me and take a picture back in 2002 in Germany. He concidered him self such a star. COLIN was the STAR, and Carlos too. SUBARU on the other hand is still the top of the top :) from those times. OH! AND OLNY 6 DRIVER GOT POINTS - THAT WAS GREAT, AND NO POWER STAGE BULL S*IT or rally2.
This was the golden era of rallying. We'll never see it again.
Cormacca we sure as hell lost some legends
Winner for 14 years has been a french man called sebastian
Tbh group b is golden era
It sure was the golden era, I loved going to watch the rally back then 👍👍👍

Absolutely, it's sad how many people forget Burns though the only English driver to win a title.
Nw.Caffers Burns was world class driver I reckon he could have won 04 championship in Subaru but we’ll never know unfortunately rip RB

What a driver Richard Burns was very smooth and persistent and yes what a machine. Subaru we need you back in WRC this were good times!
RIP Richard! A great guy and driver!
Loved watching this! Just finished racing in Finland with this exact car in Dirt Rally 2.0
RBR best rally simulator
Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo is better.
SL rally evo is a merge of arcade and simulation; RBR is pure simulation

klogg4 How is Assetto Corsa arcadey ?
klogg4 In what world is Assetto Corsa remotely arcadey?

idk but it bother me so much that he just wear a t-shirt when driving in 0:17
Lion Fiq He is wearing his race overall but he just has his sleeves rolled up
Robinetic oh didn't know that...thanks
I think nowadays that would be good reason for disqualification...
Early 2000's Sainz, McRae and many other drivers drive like that.
BuenoSeraPerkele You probably would be disqualified but I don't think there is a driver who even would want to drive without a race overall anymore
BuenoSeraPerkele well racing suit tech are so good nowadays that drivers no longer need to do that
