- The Tim May Podcast is back for a special mid-week episode to break down the decision by the Big Ten to reinstate football for Ohio State and the entire league.
Tim welcomes Nancy Werner, the mother of Ohio State linebacker Pete Werner, onto the show to talk about the last month of cancelation, protest, fight and, ultimately, reinstatement of the Big Ten football season by the league.
They talk about the decision to bring the season back and what it will mean to watch the Buckeyes on the field this season when, at one point, it looked like the parents wouldn't be able to.

One thing this whole fiasco has shown us is how impressive the parents of the buckeyes are.
As poor as the leadership handled this I can say I am proud to be a part of the Big Ten fan base. It was an honor to have watched and been a part of the community coming together, creating one voice, and standing up for what they believed in. Thank you to everyone who fought the fight! I can't wait for Big Ten football! Go Buckeyes!!!

You know.. we have a pretty heated conference. But I am so proud of everyone throughout this conference that pushed for a return to football. Whether it’s Nebraska, TTUN, Iowa, or our beloved buckeyes. Everyone who had a hand in pressuring them to bring us back football, I see as an ally. At least until we meet them back on the field. So proud of this Conference. Not necessarily the leadership, but everyone else pushing for football
