Yes! Your teaching style easy to follow. I like the way you explained how to dance to the steppin' tempo which is the opposite of how we usually dance. If you snappiin' you steppin'; if you clappin', you steppin'. Very good video. Thank you DJ Cody!

I am ashamed to say, I am 43 years old, born and raised in Chicago and still didn't know how to step 😢 However, I will say I learned more in the first 8 minutes of this video than I have in all the years people tried to "teach" me.😂 I will be doing some beginners practice with this video, thank you!

Wow. I'm new, new to this style of dance. This was the best learning of steppin for me. Your cues made the difference. Like, "if you're snapping/clapping you're moving with it, not after it." That was a crucial point for me. Also, taking into consideration the amount of dance floor real estate available was important to modify movements. The music tempo was perfect, and turning your back to the camera was also helpful with turning. Excellent Master Class! Thank you 😊

Yes there are many ways to start, opposite or both on left foot. It gives the dance more versatility however you start --- Thx!!!
