At about the same time as you were boarding this ship, we were boarding the Emerald Liberté in France. At one point we were moored beside an Ama ship so had to cross it to get to shore. The Ama fleet look like beautiful vessels. I'll be taking an Avalon Cruise beginning in Budapest on November. On your Ama cruise, what was the majority nationality of the guests??
We had mainly Americans. We met a couple from Sweden, and also from Peru, Great Britain and Canada. Because we live in California we have to fly halfway around the world to cruise in Europe, so we did another AMA Cruise (AMA Certo) on the Moselle, Rhine to Basel after the Danube cruise. That's wonderful that you are going on Avalon. We did Avalon on the Danube right after Covid. also in November. I think 2022. I think because it was post covid and so hard to travel we only had 30 passengers on the ship. If I remember right they had eBikes that you could ride.
