If Marc Miller can manage to send all them back, then there will be surplus of jobs in Canada. I am not saying anybody is going to do that or should do that. Only I said to point out the extent of the problems Canadians are facing. Nobody is talking about the problems from Canadian perspective. Before all the internationals whine, they should understand that Canada has no responsibility to find jobs for the "internationals". only for their own citizens and PR holders. Please don't think Canadian population is enjoying this PR scam by the immigration consultants in India and elsewhere.
In this world immigration is part of the global system. You can definitely stand up against that if you want, you have complete right to speak. But FYI without immigrants canada had very less population of its own which is not enough to run an economy. Deficiency of man power leads to nothing and that is why Canada is one the biggest immigrators in the world. I understand your concern and maybe I would think the same if I was at your place. But every economy face problems like this, it goes up and down but it is nobody’s fault. Immigrants are needed for a country to lead the economy towards betterment. I understand there is recession and job opportunities are less but as soon as economy gets back to its place everything will be fine. To your statement that immigrants are not Canada’s responsibility, maybe not priority but yes immigrants are Canada’s responsibility because they pay taxes to the government just like the canadian citizens and permanent residents. Australia is also having demographic problems. However their immigration is much better managed. By the way your topic of Business and Accounting does not add any value to Canada. Many of the subjects studied by internationals do not add any value to the country other than just adding numbers.
If the courses students study does not add any value to the economy then colleges should stop teaching those courses. Moreover that should be a good thing for you because you don’t have to compete, because the students study irrelevant things and you should be getting a job. Bad immigration management is government’s issue not immigrants.
