I left job in March 2020 due to same reasons in Australia. Was ready to pack my bags and leave. But the whole world was in lockdown, no flights nothing. Got an offer from the biggest Aussie healthcare company, during interview I was very clear what happened to me in my last job, they offered me free therapy session, a huge raise and a senior position. Had a lot of respect and dignity, beware Healthcare jobs can be a battlefield of bullies, cut to present times, in 4 years got 6 raise, they sponsored my permanent residency, and I couldn't be happier. I keep preaching younger Healthcare professionals to stand up for any sort of bullying and racism. Also, so true, my destiny was written in a way where I wasn't suppose to return, and things played out supporting it. Best luck.

Good that you brought this up. It happens so much in India. It’s like people have normalised having a toxic office environment. I know we aren’t supposed to carry our personal emotional baggage to our workplace but people should be considerate. I got my first job in Kanpur, my home town right after I graduated from Nift. My reporting manager was also from Nift and she was quite skilled but she was a bully too. Other colleagues were like “woh aise hi hai” I was going through a rough patch in my life and dude the way she spoke to me was even more traumatising. So rude, so mean. I somewhere left it because of her and the team as well. This shouldn’t be happening. This office politics sucks big time.

Similar thing happened to me. My own manager bullied me in-front of my whole team and then got me fired too. I shared during the exit interview that what wrong was happening, and yet, the company went on to keep the manager and changed my team. It all happened in India. I changed my company since then and it was the best decision of my life:)

Glad it finally happened because otherwise for me there was no better place to work at than that org. That was my first job and after quitting the job I felt depressed still I'm facing the same thing I always overthinking I try to calm but it feels like what will happen next I'm confident about my skills but I still feel afraid about the future but after watching you a video where you mentioned there whatever will in our kismat wo mil ke rhega after listening to this line I'm feeling little satisfied god ke pass kuch to plans change.

Dude even big companies do that. PWC Australia did the same with my husband. There was this lady Leona Goh, a Singaporean lady and the director who was not only a bully but also a racist. She would treat 2 people in her team who are Ausie with respect, but with my husband she would literally question everything thing he would do. He was in his probation and never been to an Australia, so obviously he would take time to adjust. In one on one She would make remarks like oh you should talk more with the team. When my husband tried to, then she would literally change the topic in the team and would start talking about things that my husband had no idea. This Singaporean Lady is a perfect example of corporate bully. My husband raised his voice and PWC pretended that they would help, how ever after 15 days of feedback my husband gave to HR, he was laid off.
It’s great to see that you are voicing up against these things.

    Hi Sahil,
This is the first time I’m watching your video.. so I m unsure of the kind of person you are.. but you’ll obviously bounce back with brighter colors, that’s for sure
I’ve been in your situation before & it was in India itself.. so I guess we need not got abroad to get bullied 😂
This stuff happens in 80% of the corporates in some department or the other.. and the worst part is, the person being bullied or the scapegoat still keeps taking the pressure coz he’s probably the sole breadwinner for his family or doesn’t have the courage to stand up or is too aware of the pathetic job market in the country!
The courage never builds, other source of income doesn’t work or isn’t foolproof, and the victim slowly keeps deteriorating under the building pressure

Even I did the same when I was hired by the top leading school as a Tutor. One of my fellow colleague bully me coz I was new in that institution. She was a senior tutor over there. But that doesn’t mean u can bully to the next level. I raised my voice n complaint to the head of the department. Department talked to the Subject Representative and also guided to take a stand for myself. Later on she became little aware. But as u mentioned that fellow colleague never change. 😂
I stood for myself later on I gave resignation and quit the job.
Now I worked in a very reputed IB School where they respect every individual. 🧿🤞🏻🥰

You've done a great job, brother❤, and I want to tell you about my story. I've been working since 2018 when I was 20 years old, and since then I've dealt with so many guys who were always jealous of my looks, my work, and my nature, and I would get so depressed about my life. You know, that is why I didn't make any guys friends in my life because I was afraid of making fake friends. Apart from my story, best of luck in your future ❤. Now I feel like guys don't want to be friends with someone who is really good-looking.

yr schi khu Canada mai hi nhi, even Indian corporate sector, whether small or large, corporate bullying us so common, ek bnde ko bitha dete sath jise ata jata kuch ni hota, khne ko keh dete ki apka senior hai, fr bs vo apne app ko boss smjhne lg jata, HR ko btao ya higher authority ko btao, to unko yeh digest ni hota, unko lgta hum unke against jare but in actuality hum bullying k against jare hote.

We are on same board. The same thing happened to me because i denied to take part in their shady activities. They terminated me without giving me a cause and it took a toll on my mental health.I am happy that you stand for yourself. I got to know that i am not alone. There are a few people who loves there dignity more than money. I have huge respect for you. In the initial days you will feel a little bit sadness but eventually you will realize that it is good for your mental health that you don’t have to face the toxic environment and people. Be proud that you took stand for yourself and God always has better plan for us.

I faced same issues in my current organisation. My manager constantly trying to harass me because I was threat for her position. And when I repeatedly did complaints with proof, chats, email, voice recording etc still at the end my team got changed. And that toxic manager still there in that team where I started and build everything. I can relate to you. We are rebels and we don’t entertain such people and we can’t lick someone ass.

Same thing even I went through in my last company and I took the same decision I would say it was the worst company to work with as you said an individual would love to work where there are happy faces not an environment with toxicity in it. Much appreciated your decision 🙌🏻

Really appreciate you for speaking up about this!
Honestly this office bullying is becoming such a common phenomenon around the world whether it be the dumping culture, workplace harassment or work overload you hear stories like this every now and then. This badly needs to change.
And I hope you get to work in a great environment soon where you're appreciated and can work peacefully. 🙌
