Poor Ringo. In the Anthology he tells that he had a real bad time in hospital while his fellows were on tour. Maybe he even was afraid to be out of the band.
It's interesting how Ringo said that none of the lads were married. I know that it wasn't widely known that John was married. It was supposed to be a secret, but whenever John himself was asked about it he answered truthfully...
@@thebeatlesstuff8151 I checked that, yes I understand but maybe he intended to make a "Roman" salute (ave Caesar) which was quite the same thing.. I'd rather take it that way..
@@JErnst-pl5xk Yes i know, the whole thing is awful. But cut them some slack, this was nearly 60 years ago, they grew up in post-war Britain when there was still rationing and bomb sites everywhere. Their parents generation also made fun of hitler and the nazis during the war, while bombs were dropping on them, it's how they got through life. There's no point in being offended all these years later. And who knows, they might both regret doing this now if they weren't so dead.
"He's not married! None of us are!"
John: ⚫👄⚫
0:55 as an Australian, George's 'tie me kangaroo down sport' joke deserved more of a laugh

Amazing how many interviews Ringo gave alone.

They kinda did have to "put up with it" for the rest of their lives. Honestly, that level if attention would have driven most people insane.

There’s that jealous reporter again- ( he wants their income 😉).

All jokes aside , Jimmy was a better drummer .
Sandy Sandy no Ringo's drumming is really underrated, he truly is an amazing drummer, the thing that he plays on the drums are really hard to play
