When Annie asked ,"Who is Alan Watts?" I was quite shocked, but also thrilled his name came up. More people need to hear his message, now more than ever.
Listening to alan watts led to psychedelic experiences changing to something completely different. Meaning I listened to him amd a few days later took some and experinced something completely different, I have never been able to go back to the old feeling. I had to stop taking them. I thought i was becoming 'enlightened' but i am now just another crazy dude honestly. Tread carefully with the whole spiritual thing, things arent as they seem, most people who get close to that light end up as the people talking to themself on the street. Alan Watts is a positive message, but the spiritual world is not all enlightenment and peace... I wish I never looked.

We can't vote our way out of this mess because the problems we face aren't political, they're spiritual. There's a war going on, and it's between Good and Evil. It's not that some people are good and some are evil, we're all a mixture of both, but the time is coming when we'll all have a choice as to which side we're on.
I don't think that our attention span is decreasing. What we see is a lessening of our ability to endure boredom. When we have fun, or when we are interested in something, we can focus for hours and hours. When we are bored, we immediately look for something more stimulating.
This is actually the most positive spin I've saw someone make about attention span. I do agree that though boredom is becoming less easy to be in, that sometimes doing absolutely nothing is necessary for spiritual revitalization

Is it me, or did Joe spend the majority of the interview talking about other subjects except what Annie was there to speak about. Annie kept trying to get back to the book and the subject and Joe consciously kept steering the conversation in another direction.

I started watching her on Shawn Ryan's podcast. Within 30 minutes she was saying TRUMP was going to cause a nuclear war. Gee, toots, I seem to recall the world being at peace during his time. We have never been closer to nuclear war than we are RIGHT NOW under Demento Joe. Also, she spouts off a whole bunch of "facts" that she has uncovered - but it was all stuff I already knew since I was a kid by watching War Games, Threads, Command and Control, Day After, etc. I've learned a heck of a lot more since by reading. Don't waste your time. She's just making the rounds to sell a hyperbolic book.

Is it me, or did Joe spend the majority of the interview talking about other subjects except what Annie was there to speak about. Annie kept trying to get back to the book and the subject and Joe consciously kept steering the conversation in another direction.

It was SOOOOoo hard to watch. Joe was a complete baboon on this one. For someone that doesn't like getting in his own way and being married to his ideas, he really got in his own way and is married to his ideas on this one.

I started watching her on Shawn Ryan's podcast. Within 30 minutes she was saying TRUMP was going to cause a nuclear war. Gee, toots, I seem to recall the world being at peace during his time. We have never been closer to nuclear war than we are RIGHT NOW under Demento Joe.
Also, she spouts off a whole bunch of "facts" that she has uncovered - but it was all stuff I already knew since I was a kid by watching War Games, Threads, Command and Control, Day After, etc. I've learned a heck of a lot more since by reading.

But, when a person who’s very captivating and has a lot of good information to offer, just like Annie Jacobsen, I stop everything, and straight up listen. Forrest Galante, is also one of my favourite Joe Rogan podcasts(both of them). very good information. so captivating. Anyway, I loved the first Annie Jacobsen podcast with Joe Rogan
Then when I saw this last one, I totally stopped everything just listen to it.
I usually just listen to those cuts. But just like I said, when I saw Annie had another one.I’m now watching all of it. So much good information. People need this nowadays good information and pay attention to it. Learning from it. With the Internet, we have too many ignorant people spreading lies.
