Combine wind turbine with solar. The output of the wind turbine charge controller can be fed into the same battery as the output of the solar charge controller. This allows power to be supplied by two independet energy sources. If one source doesn't deliver the other might do so. Vertical wind trubines start producing power above wind speeds of about 4m/s. Even if a wind turbine only produces 200W it's enough to charge a battery overnight so you can prepare your breakfast in the morning. Often when solar is unavailable or low (in winter) winds are strong - so solar-wind is a good combination. This is for off-grid - if you're on-grid just spend the money on electricity bills and draw your juice from the grid.
I have yet to see a video that shows the whole system needed to make this work and the total cost to install one. all I see is propaganda from each company pointing out the benefits of their machine.
Nor do they address the resistance anyone would have to erecting these things in an urban environment. Imagine having a turbine pole in your backyard about 20' in the air, spinning away. Yeah, your neighbors will LOVE living next door to that!
Sorry man, your information is incorrect, horizontal turbines are more efficient than vertical turbines. also no turbine generates useable power at low speeds, even if they have a low startup speed, you can't create energy from nothing. basic energy laws apply, where they do come into their own is in turbulent conditions as horizontal turbines get knocked about turning out of the wind and waste time getting lined up again
also in the end the presentation shows "1,500 kWh" (one thousand five hundred kilowatt-hours of energy per year), which the narrator magically turns into "1,5 kW" (one and a half kilowatts of power), which oversells the actual claim by almost a factor of 10. The level of "nah, it'll be fine, I don't care" in this "educational" video is jaw-dropping.
Flower turbines is one of the most respectable companies in that they provide real measurement data. They show that price/performance is very high compared to solar. And that's why they combine wind with solar. Having said that, I doubt that any of these turbines are worth the investment. Except flower turbines as they do not lie about their "incredible super watt output".
While wind turbines can be affected by strong storms, the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series is designed for durability and can withstand outdoor conditions. Its magnesium alloy frame and multi-layered waterproof design make it resistant to damage. However, it's always a good idea to monitor extreme weather conditions and take appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of any equipment. Stay safe and enjoy your outdoor adventures!
Windturbines stop when there is too much wind and they stop when there is no wind. Besides all the mechanical failures that require maintenance or repair. And they require enormous quantities of square miles to put them. Finally it makes energy twice or three times more expensive and the supply unpredictable.
You make 12mps sound slow. Just under 45kph. Not too sure where residential area’s have a consistent speed of 12mps but I certainly wouldn’t want to live there. Just saying 🤷🏻♂️
*All practical tests show that small wind turbines hardly generate any electricity! And only at very high costs!* Because there is hardly any wind close to the ground. It is also extremely gusty, which usually shortens the service life. Only if you need to be self-sufficient from the power grid, you should buy a small wind turbine. *With solar modules, on the other hand, reliably generate electricity for 25 years at approx. 3-10 cent/kWh!*
With solar you will encounter numerous occasions when your array will fail to produce any power. Such as on rainiy cloudy days in winter, when sunlight is weak anyway. However wind speeds are higher during the winter season and this is when a wind turbine might complement solar. Furthermore wind power is not dependent on sunlight it is an energy source that is available 24hrs/day. Even if only small amounts of energy are produced they are produced 24hrs/day. Solar on the other hand depends on the sun which is below the horizon for many hours each day especially in winter and thus yields no power. For individual housholds solar arrays and wind turbines make sense in off-grid situations. For the amount on money you have to spend on a proper off-grid energy system you can pay electricity bills for many years. I'd say if you have the opportunity to go on-grid, do so.
1 and 4 are the worst of the windmills. Savonius-type is always worst, even if it looks like a tulip. 5 is worst of Darrieus-type, 6 blades are always worse than three, if these are not 3+3 blades (two turbines above each other with a shift for half the turnover between the blades)
Two rules of wind turbine will help you decide what turbine is best. 1) Never mount turbines on buildings, vibrational noise and stress will be destructive. 2) Turbines should be mounted at least two times height of nearest building or trees. Follow the rule, the cost and efficiency will lead you to the right turbine.
What a big joke... all residential wind turbines, wathever technology are dreams more than anything for the main reason that you need to go high above the top of your roof to have a steady powerful wind. Wind turbines work OUTSIDE residential area and since their power is directly proportional to the square of diameter of the turbine, you need a BIG turbine, not the little things you promote.

Guys...lets put it bluntly - all small home turbines are a joke! You cannot cheat the laws of physics - you need massive surface area for the wind to spin, else you lose huuge ammounts of energy! Alsom, to make up at least some of the lost energy, small turbines need to spin at huuge speeds, greatly increasing structural stress on the turbine and shorting its lifespan and making maintenance be required often and thus, expensive. it really isnt worth it! The only actual small-ish turbine to work, would be the Aeromine, but it has severe limitations: - it only works with 1 wind direction - its heavy, bulky, not that small ...it is small when compared to those 100m tall collosi, but its by no means actually small...its the size of a huge, large closet! - its used on square industrial buildings (like warehouses) - it doesnt work in residential spaces, due to weight and vibrations - very difficult to install on buildings, as it has both an outside and inside part

All America's building settled on the wind turbines, we will continue to create many more energy

What happens in a storm with 100km/h or more winds? Can these break on the roof or blow up the inverter?

Combination of energy are most beneficial. Meaning why monopoly if we have accessibility to all types of energy sources....

How to control the Frequency of power generated, when wind speeds are variable
it's simple first the power will go into the energy storage system from that it will be used to power the house.
Thanks for your quick reply. That means energy generated will be D.C. and later we have to use the inverter. Is that correct? . @@morrow100
