  • Here is a close look at our Greasewood Creosote Bush (Larrea tridentata) found throughout the Sonoran and Mojave Deserts of the western United States. This video was filmed at Blair Canyon Campground, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park - home of our native wildflowers, cacti, shrubs, lizards, blister beetles, and other cool stuff.

I've never seen anyone so excited about a plant before! I love it! Most people just tune out my enthusiasm for "ohhh, there''s another one!.. let's go look at it". Thank you for all of your information. I found your channel after searching for what part of the creosote bush you use to make essential oil. I didn't find that but I found you.. an encyclopedia (do people still use this word? I guess i just gave away my age) of knowledge. Cheers for now, I have some binge watching to do on my new subscription.

I have seen rabbits and quail eat the hell out of it. Humingbirds fight over the nectar in the yellow flowers. So animals do eat them.
