Chris is also used as medicine in the native American in different ways also sagebrush is very efficient with water in Idaho by Malta we drilled it well about a hundred feet down the conductor shaft for a geothermal well and we found sagebrush roots at 100 ft deep
take us in to the outside classroom hahaa//// very informative video, thanks for this. I love vast areas covered in creosote nice to get some more info about the plants
Not buying the "center dies out" theory. If so, we'd see hundreds if not thousands of such creosote "ubiquitous" plants with decaying centers all over the desert. We don't. One such plant in Lucerne Valley dated 11,700 years old? Please.
Hit Sand Dunes, very miserable, good wind but continuous blowing of sand, everybody now very weak, thought Sam & Moore were all gone. LaMotte eyes are gone, everyone else's eyes are bad. Still going @t signs of anything, a couple of birds; good wind from N. Really weak now, can't walk, pains all over, still all want to die. Nites very cold, no sleep. Eyes bad, lost all our wgt. aching all over, could make it if we had water; just enough left to put our tongue to, have hope for help very soon, no rest, still same place. 5th day out & we all thought we're gone. All wanted to die during noon it was so hot. Morn & nite okay. 2 drops of water!
It is the Rain bushes !
I LOVE creosote bushes! They are truly magical.
