The original sub has no date 😁 so we have the submariner and the submariner date 🤗

Original Submariner Kermit 50 year Anniversary, the 2021 41 Submariner Bluesy two tone and the 20/1 41 Submariner no date .
I really like the No Date for every day and it really has a great look and feel.

The new 41 Submariner no date is a beautiful watch and not that many have been going around .
The Cartier Is an excellent watch, I bought one back in the late 90’s for my Wife back when I was still married .
They are still a great value .

What a coincidence... I'm supposed to be getting the same sub from AD any time now! At first I wanted a Sub date but after looking at so many videos of both I'm loving the no date! I love my AD rep... she's really been taking care of me... how do I return the favor?... professionaly. Congrats!

I got this watch a month or so ago and really love it.
Maybe ADs do things a bit differently in the USA but here in the UK the AD removes all the stickers before you get it.
I love the whole intro with the wine.
Seems like the 50’s and 60’s were the glory days of both Omega and Rolex. Rolex is big time straying from what they used to be, which ironically is what makes them appeal to watch enthusiasts, the adventure of the explorer and the sub as a tool ext. Omega feels more connected to their past and they understand why their watches were made in the first place
Agree. I don't think I'll ever get a Rolex in my collection. I think I'd rather get a vacheron tbh. It's actually high horology, is a watch enthusiasts watch and you don't have to play silly games with an AD to get one.
The best Rolex watch in my humble opinion, simple elegance, perfect symmetry and looks good in any situation. Watches are made to be worn, so please don't hide it away, wear it and enjoy it, it is a stunning timepiece. Great video by the way.
Awesome Submariner. I have a vintage 5513. Its been with me for 30 years. The no date is so convenient because you don't have to set it. I really find the no date version has special symmetry in design. Hope your daughter LOVES her classic Cartier. Note, if she is not into the rectangle then I suggest checking out for her a base twenty-year-old men's Cartier Pasha- bargain-priced these days....MUCH cheaper than when it came out and it's now sized well for the modern lady).

This Monday my Seiko King Turtle came in from Hong Kong. this is the best watch I have bought in 20 years. . Congratulations on 40 thousand, this is just the beginning . The Videos and the music are the very best. if you want to know why -go watch a MR North Video outstanding
Love the Rolex unboxing video’s!!! When I see A new one posted it makes my day. There is nothing like the high of bringing home a brand new Rolex and opening the box for the first time, it’s addictive!!!! So watching your unboxing helps my habit and gives me a fix until my next one hahahaha.
Got my 124060 from the AD last year…I was really lucky to get it without any prior purchase.

Arguably the greatest wearing, visually appealing, best all around, daily wearing watch of all time. Take your pick on references, but to me the 124060 is the best yet. You should wear it and enjoy it. You will appreciate it’s simplicity and refined dimensions (and no cyclops!).
Completely agree. Mine's arriving on Monday. The date sub looks to me like a beautiful watch with a lump of plastic stuck on it.

Picked up my 41 Bluesy 09.03.2021. Now I do really know why Sub is the best ever !!!
I really like what they did with the new Sub, slightly larger yes but the case shape for me anyway looks so much better than the maxi case. I was very surprised that such small change could have such a large visual impact. Personally I'm a fan of the clean dial but would definitely not say I was anti cyclops. Watches and red wine, almost perfect and with that little guy to look after the Turtle is a treat.
If you like the way it looks, you'll love the way it wears. Really nice compared to the previous gen maxi case.

Lovely Cartier I’ve bought birth year watches for each of my children ‘90, ‘93 and ‘97!! Now they aren’t getting them until I’m gone lol

Thanks for showing me how to use the opener. I usually screw it all the way down and use the handle like a "T" handle and pulling like mad.
Although I'm not a huge fan of Rolex,symmetry does a lot for a watch and the one you showed looks so much better for it.......................................

Over the last year, (and what a year) I have been watching the channel you have delivered GREAT, if not certainly the best content in the watch industry on UA-cam. I am sure I do not speak singularly when I say you helped a lot of people get through tough times. Showing us Italy, the wonderful videography (thanks, Lydia) the wine, smokes, song, movies, stories, and of course, watches have been an absolute escape and I dare say may have "rescued" some people.

I'm that some people that dislike the cyclops. It ruined the beautiful crystal and symmetry. In my opinion, cyclops should only applied to Datejust and daydate.

It's your grail, but he won't even wear it. It's harder to buy these things at list when people are just throwing them in their bank vaults (you do have one of those, right?).
@@Triggaaar very true. It's like anything else though. People treat them as investment pieces or pieces of art tucked in a room or safe or box at the bank for no one else to see. I'm sure I may have someone's grail on my wrist or chilling in my safe. Some would also laugh at his watch collection as they stick millions worth in their bank (Producer Michael). The real shame is Rolex holding back their watches for certain special customers to buy at list while the rest of us have to buy on secondary markets so people can make even higher profits. I will probably never buy one for that reason (and because every asshole I know has a Rolex because it makes them feel like they've made it).

Re-watching the video because it's one of my favourites. It reminded me that years ago a friend of mine (who was a career Bachelor )was throwing a party and I knew that for him that meant whiskey and beer. So I showed up with a case of wine. As soon as I walked in I heard a high-pitched female voice ohmygod he brought wine!!!! He said to me later in the evening. I don't know anything about wine how do I know what to buy for the next time for some of the ladies? The first thing that came to my mind was pick up a Shiraz he said he wouldn't remember that. I said sure as hell she has two glasses of this your odds of just increased dramatically. He said That I can remember...Just a quick story.
Congratulations Oisin! I remember one of your past videos you loved this piece following a visit to your AD. Interestingly, my AD does not allow you to take the bezel protector or “the cube” as they call it. Cool piece and great video. I personally enjoyed the gifting section too 😉

Although I have a thin wrist, I always promised myself whenever I watched your channel, especially when it was a submariner. I kept my promise today. Well done in another great watch- bitter sweet for me as just got back from my AD who told me I could be in for an even longer wait for the same model.
I went through a “fuck Rolex” sulky phase Friday afternoon- I’ll just get another brand who don’t make me jump through hoops.
But today I woke up calmer and accepted that there’s can’t be a “sub-stitute” (see what I did there... 😒😞) so I’ll wait and hopefully it won’t be longer than a year.

I really love gold Rolex sports- you’re all missing out obsessing over all of these steel models. Steel models are beautiful but for what the gray market charges I’d sooner get gold at MSRP with no waiting list.

Same watch (though it’s only my second Rolex lol). V nice, though I feel it looks better on a 7.5” wrist or above; mine is 7” and it’s a little large (esp compared to the vintage versions or the BB58).
