- The plaintiff brings her neighbor to court. She claims the defendant leaves rotten food outside and her dog ate it. She thinks the defendant poisoned the dog, so she’s suing for vet bills. The defendant argues she has been leaving breadcrumbs out for birds and would never harm a dog. She says the plaintiff’s dog is vicious and she even filed a complaint with animal control.

So the plaintiff claims the defendant got in by using a key, but later says that the defendant went through a crawl space that connects the units - all to scratch her floors, puncture her dog's ball, and put birdseed in her drawers. Oh, yeah - and she accidentally left her phone outside for an hour or two, and the IT people deleted her evidence. Poor woman needs to get checked out, and possibly shouldn't be living alone. 😬

@@msfoster2468It is crazy.. if we look at it as is - we could say its possible but it’s not possible in the case of just some old neighbor being the culprit. You would need expensive surveillance software (that only the government or gov contracted companies own or have access to use). Considering she’s just a regular old lady, this is overwhelmingly leaning to the cause being mental health issues.

She’s sick, it’s kind of tragic to watch. She has a list of mysterious damages in her house and assumes it’s someone sneaking in, trying to cause minor damage. It’s the dog. The dog walked in the floor. The dog bit through the ball. The dog cracked the plastic. I hope she gets help.

It’s really sad. The plaintiff appears to have the onset of dementia. I have a friend and their mother has began to behave in this manner and has been diagnosed with dementia. They really believe what they’re saying. Most of the time, they’re getting all of these conspiracy theories from watching too much tv and not having many interactions with other people. 😢

This plaintiff sounds to me like a conspiracy theorist. She's very proud of claiming the defendant wasn't putting the rotten food out in front of her place but next door, as if that proves something. She lists strange things happening in her home that could only have been done by the defendant. She learns that someone could, COULD, climb in through her crawl space, even though she says the defendant has a key. Conspiracy theories don't work well in court, where they usually require hard evidence.
How about putting up a surveillance camera or two in her home? Or at least an affidavit from that floor repair guy.

True, but feeding them at night would be silly as rats or other vermin would eat it. We put seed or fruit out in the morning for birds, often get small parrots coming in or sometimes cockatoos, if we were to put it out at night our resident possums would probably eat it.

When you move into an apartment. You should immediately change the cylinder on the front door 🚪 and give the landlord a copy. Then, you'll know the only person with a copy of the key 🗝️ is your landlord. You don't know, how many people have keys 🗝️ to your apartment, when you 1st move in.

What the landlord does, is, they normal take the lock off one door and switch it with another unit if they have multiple units or, they have several locks and they change the last one with one prior or a new one. They tend to just switch locks between multiple units if they had two empty so there is no need to be paranoid.
A landlord I had changed the locks as soon as a new tenant move in, another landlord didn't think it was necessary to change locks on his house every time. Smh, doesn't make since to not change the locks every time.

However obviously the defendant is not well informed, because she is harming animals by leaving breadcrumbs out for the bird, because it has been proven that bread is very bad for birds. you should be leaving out seeds or ideally skinless grape or something

When has that been proven? cite the sources since you claim it should be common knowledge. when have you ever seen a bird die or get sick from eating bread.

I had a delusional neighbor in a duplex many years ago. She kept calling the police saying I was too loud. My TV was too loud when I mowed the yard. It shook the concrete. Crazy stuff like that. The police got tired of coming out for these ridiculous calls. The scary part is she really believed this stuff and then when I saw her in the back, shoot the gun, I thought I got to get out of here she’s gonna kill us.

the plaintiff has some mental health issues that she needs to get help for. My aunt has started to be exactly like this lady a couple years ago….my aunt has lived in 6 different places and at every place someone is doing something…my dad is going in her phone (virtually m) hacking it; my dad can barely work a phone. People put microscopic cameras in her walls at all 6 places, they steal all her stuff, they put drugs in her tires,etc. The police literally told her to stop calling them. It’s so sad and she just won’t get help and we can’t 302 her and we as a family just don’t know what to do but it breaks my heart to see her like this especially compared to how she was.

Cameras are cheap now so why wouldn't the plaintiff get cameras? Also the cameras record to the cloud so if the photos and videos are deleted off the camera, they would still be on the cloud.

I feel bad for the plaintiff; she needs someone to help her seek appropriate mental healthcare. I also feel for the defendant. I have been the center of someone's delusional paranoia before and it can be scary. Even though the defendant doesn't live there anymore, people like the plaintiff will come up with all sorts of scenarios. From the plaintiff driving across the state to go into her house to scratch one of her pans, or hiring a huge network of people to spy on her, or to pay her boss to fire her, etc. It is just never-ending.
