If you want to organize a meet and greet the first thing I'd look for is an Event Organizer if you want to remove a lot of the stress from the equation. I've put together a few charity nights/trivia nights as part of my work and perhaps the most important element is the venue.
As a youtuber I'd suggest a Stage setup within a large hall where you can take questions etc, something like the usual setup at vidcon. I'd also reserve a general area within the hall for mingling and light catering, as well as a canvas setup for you to take photos with fans.
If I lived in Texas I'd totally organize your event Bunny! :P I live for this type of stuff.

Maybe have sign up meet and greets every now and then. The first 300 get to come each time you do one. If they've been to one they can't come to the next and so forth. Gives everyone a chance and it will be contained.

Bunny is one of the sweetest people so it always confuses me when I see people get so rude trying to "stick up" for her. I guarantee you Bunny does not appreciate when her fans are mean towards each other, even if it's in defense of her or in response to something rude. The original comment was nothing to get mad about anyway.

You should do wristbands next time, like the first 300 people (or something like that) get a wristband and that guarantees they get to meet you. Then, if there's time, people without wristbands can meet you too.
That's a great idea, but unfortunately ppl are still gonna have a problem with that, saying something isn't fair and what not. I don't think she needed to do this video in the first place. It's blavk and white, the space was rented from 12-6, that's it, when it's 6 it's over and done! She doesn't have to do anything and the fact that she goes out of her way to do things and ppl still complain it's just riciculous! She was there for 6 HOURS+, that's a long time!
GoreJess11 I was there and people were complaining that they wanted a LONG time to see her, most were there for 6+ hours and were so close to the door until the shut it down. Parents also complained about how they work 8+ hours a day and they could go longer. Then again, they didnt know it was rented for a specific time. They believed she could add an extra hour.
She could do a massive picnic in a public park :D then people couldn't complain :D it's public,it's free and it's a nice way to meet new people :)
You know what you should do next time? Sell "tickets" online, you can sell them for $0 (i've bought tickets for these events before, for opening nights, meet and greets, etc), but it just gives you an idea of how many people are estimated to show up. You can put a limit on the number you 'sell'
next time you can sell free tickets. that people have to download a ticket that they have to bring to the meet n greet, that way you know approximately how many people are coming :)

The problem with that is that when something is free many people would take the tickets and not show up. Not sure if it would be a good indicator of how many would be there.

Next time you should have a free online rsvp ticket, like sign up and print out a ticket. Then every 50 people or so could be in group A,B,C, etc and have a designated time to show up and then you could budget in breaks for yourself! Then the scammer stuff wouldnt happen and everything would be less mobby and you would have a better idea of how many people will be there
My musical theater group used to do charity gigs and we wouldn't charge for it but we still used to assign tickets so we would know exactly how many so it would be an option for you. You could say im having a one/two day event and i will meet 400 people etc and then people contact you via form and get sent their ticket, first come first served. That will give you a much better indication and hopefully help you in the future :D

sell tickets for 1 dollar and then give something back to whoever buys a ticket. Easy enough. You know who's coming and its still pretty much free.
exactly, that way you can just have an x amount of people but still keep it as low cost as possible. if people really wanna meet bunny, i'm sure they can get 1 dollar!
my experience of meeting bunny- I was on the line for a good 4 hours, it was my friend and i and my sister. we had been waiting on it and my friend and i knew that we weren't going to meet her. me and her got off the line and went to the front just to shop for makeup. as we were walking down, we saw 2 other girls coming and asked if they had met them, they said no but some girl who only went for shopping met her. at this point it was our best bet to go. we called my sis to get off the line and to come with us. we went upstairs and saw bunny and i was freaking out. so then we shopped and stuff and we were going to leave, but my sister and had made cards and so i walked over to one of the workers and asked to give it to bunny. she walked over and gave it to her and the worker pointed at us, indicating that we had made them for her. bunny gave us the saddest look because she knew we weren't on the line. i started freaking out and then i started to cry. i was like breaking down. she walked over to me and said "no no, no tears, you'll make me cry" she gave me a hug and i got pictures with her and my sis as well and i was crying so hard. she is honestly one of the sweetest and most caring person. THANK YOU BUNNY I LOVE YOU!

Theater under the stars would be perfect. It's got a stage, seats and then lawn seating.

Hi Bunny!! I was lucky enough to be part of the last groups of Swamp Family members to be let in at your m&g and honestly can't thank you enough. The wait was crazy but you turned a group of five complete strangers into friends over a span of five and a half hours. Not only did we hug you that day, but we hugged each other when we had to part ways and the fact that you were the reason behind that is enough reason to say thank you a million times. Though the time that I had with you was pretty rushed, I hope it allowed for at least one other person to get in who was behind me in line. Thank you for being the sweetest human alive even after standing and meeting people in rapid succession for hours and hours. I'm rambling now but I love you so much and although the day ended on a sad note I can guarantee that you made a whole lot of people very happy to be part of the swamp that day, even if it was just because we were surrounded by others who shared the love for you. THANK YOU SO MUCH! (PS, selfish comment but do you think you'll do a NYC gift haul similar to your Swamp Family Mail videos? I'm just curious to see your reaction to my gift ^.^)

grav3yardgirl maybe you could do a meet-n-greet and partner up with a local charity. sell tickets for 5 dlls towards the charity and guarantee that you will see every person with a ticket. (i mean have a set amount of tickets that would be reasonable) that way the charity wins and you are not charging for it.
There was a time set on the invite you sent out. People should not expect you to stay there all day. A girl has to eat, pee and take a breath for crying out loud! No one should expect you to be at a meet & greet for 12 hours or more. And if you do then folks you are just being selfish. Bunny I'm sorry it stressed you out like it did. You are a sweet person and your heart was in the right place but sweetie you can't get yourself so worked up over things beyond your control. And people should be a little more understanding not only with you but with Tarte. I'm sure no one expected such a large turn out.

Bunny we both love Disney and go every year. Sadly not at the same time because I know you do meet and greets there. When I saw that you were have one in NYC I was so excited. You were only 31 miles from me. I was glad that my parents took me into the city. My dad went off somewhere to do work. While my mom and I waited in line for a really long time. Although sadly I didn't get to meet you the day was not a loss. It was still a win for me. You got me to do something I don't do offend which is get out of my comfort zone. While standing in line with my anxiety running high to the point where I had physical and mental symptoms I stayed in hopes of meeting you. I stayed in the discomfort of my own skin in a crowed noisy place. That has me feeling overwhelmed. Deep down inside I had a feeling that I wouldn't get to meet you. It was crazy that day, but I knew life was putting to the test. Make me grow and stretch beyond something I never thought I could do. I was glad that I got a glimpse of you as you were leaving to get to your car. I was also glad that I got to hand off your gifts, which I hope you got and liked. Even thought I didn't get to meet you that day you still did something for me and I'm so thankful for that. Your the best never change who you are 🐰🐊💓

Look for your fans on youtube and IG that say they didn't get to meet you and DM them to FaceTime or Skype and make an account for especially for your fans:) they didn't get to meet you in person but virtual meeting might be the next best thing:)

You should hire a theatre and make it free but ticketed. Everyone would get to see you at once. You could sell merch and maybe do a competition for a select few get to go on stage and meet you. A bit like vidcom.
That's the thing about meet and great events, youtubers need to have the same security and management as a celebrity, they turn out crazy fan numbers like celebrities and they need to be organized like celebrities.
Another thing is that, it's really hard to accept, but there is no feasible way to please every single person, it just not realistic or possible.
I know you don't want to charge your fans, but there has to be some way of getting them tickets, through a giveaway or a "Sign up first!" event to give away a set number of tickets to make managing the event and crowd easier.
I think you should talk to a theater (like where they do concerts) and see about doing it there. It probably wouldn't be free, but you would get to see mass fans, and they would "police" it.

Maybe for the next meet and greet you could do a guest list people can sign up for online? For example: you give away 100 places a day for one week or however many you want. This system could really help I think!

Hey bunny, so what I say is do a show. You can let people "pay" for admission or donate to a charity. You can sell tickets and be able to personalize it by speaking to the crowd and you can do separate nights so you meet more people, and just do question and answers and etc. I would love to meet you.

Hey bunny you should do ur next meet n greet in el paso, tx no one ever comes here...hahaha but there is a collisium that u can probably rent out. Also if u dont want to charge, maybe u can ask for a $5 donation or something like that and give all the proceeds to ur favorite charty. So for example people get a ticket by giving a donation and maybe that would give u an idea of how many people will be there. And so people dont think ur ripping them off maybe u can have a rep from the charity u choose and give them one of those big checks...lol Hey I know El Paso animal shelter is always looking for donations.....Just Saying

Hi Bunny your proberly not going to read this but here goes nothing... what you said about at the start about doing things it really helped me I've always loved singing and people tell me im amazing I've had requests to sing at my church in the church band but everytime I have tried to sing I have gotten terrible stage fright and I get all shoken and teared up about it and it puts me off even tho its something I love to do! And no one has ever said to me anything like you said! And one day I do beleave I will be able to sing and not have stage fright thank you Bunny I love you! And im glad you had a good time in NYC :)

I really doesnt take any talent or anything to become a "celebrity" nowadays, its really sad.

Because maybe that youtuber is their role model or idol. You dont need to be a great singer or actor in order to inspire people or connect to them. We feel we relate to her and maybe her "talent" is being able to communicate with others or express herself through vlogs.
tleeg74 the beauty of UA-cam is that these people that do these videos are regular people who subscribers can identify with. It's not meeting a 'celebrity', it's meeting a friend for the first time. It's really not as complicated as you want to make it.

However, seeing you had already made 110% of my day. Your hugs were the best and just meeting someone I am inspired by had overwhelmed me. Maybe you could try to hold a meet and greet at a public park? I don't think they can kick people out of those. I mean, people hold large birthday and graduation parties there all the time.
Public parks are usually owned by a city..... and yes, they do have capacity limits. Too, it would be really difficult to control things at a park saftety-wise.
What about a football stadium?

I went to a meet and greet for a popular UA-camr, and we did get kicked out of a park haha. Security show up at lightning speed when large groups of people are involved.
I was so happy to see how many swamp family members were there! I was walking by as you drove up and I first seen Dog Man in the front seat! So excite! I tried to come by at 2:00 but the line was still extremely long, but I'm glad I could be there still and feel the love of the crowd! You are an incredible inspiration to all of us Bunny!

you should book a club or something during the daytime for like 8-10 hours so that it can hold a lot of people and you can hang out with them and then that way people won't be stuck on the sidewalk or only have access to you for 2 minutes. I think that would be fun. Sometimes Sephora does meet and greets too and you should come to the one in Austin!
Bunny I had the luck of meeting you and it was amazing. Once I got into the building everyone was so nice and asked if we're excited and genuinely seemed to care about us. I only got to talk to you for a couple of minutes but still one of the best things that has happened to me in a long time. Waiting for about 3 hours was the least I could do for someone who is so caring and considerate of others such as you are. I hope that you read my letter. I went and I had a GREAT experience. Everyone (including Bunny) was super nice and the products were super cheap and overall it was worth the wait.
Try to rent out the Cynthia Mitchell woods pavilion in The woodlands it's huge and it would be a good space to greet people
Hey I had my high school graduation there! And yea it is huge! Plus they have like staff that work events there so maybe they would be able to help with organizing it! Also its literally 5 seconds from my house so Bunny you should do this pleaseeeee. Oh another idea, I will offer up my house for the next meet and greet, only 65% joking about that, anything to get a meet and greet in the houston area!!!

rachel joan yes! Meet & Greet in Houston. Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion would probably charge. Maybe somewhere in Pearland or Pasadena. Ugh I can't remember where Little Mix came for their Meet & Greet, but the staff was very helpful and pleasant. If you went to the Little Mix meet&greet in the houston area, where were they located? It would be a great spot for The Swamp Family.

The only issue is that if there are large groups of people in a public area police do tend to get involved quickly and get everyone to disperse, it's happened a lot with popular youtubers. Renting out spaces are not only safer they're also easier to control any situations that may happen and organise crowds. :)
