Thank you, Hina. Some people complain I'm too slow, but pah! I keep it slow and steady because a lot of my people don't have English as their first language. I'm glad you like it!
Awesome. This is very helpful and can be adopted in every aspect of life. Thank you Mr. Mike Clayton for such a wonderful short and very pointed explanation. I am going though all your videos after watching this one. A great learning from you. Thank you again :)
Thank you sir. Good explanation. Which concrete toolset or methods would you recommend for a PM who wants to incorporate all you said here in to his practice?
Thank you. The Lean toolset was developed for the manufacturing sector - outside of that sector (back-office, services, and project management, for example) we are really just applying a lean mindset and adapting existing tools. I am not aware of any specific Lean Project Management tools. That said, I think some of the TPS Lean Manufacturing tools can adapt well to the project environment. The Deming/Shewhart Cycle of Plan-Do-Check-Act is a good way to think of the monitor and control cycle during delivery and also adapts well to Agile contexts. Kanban is also a tool from Lean manufacturing and is excellent for routine IT projects.I am also a big fan of 5S and Gemba walks in PM and have done videos on them too: - Kanban: ua-cam.com/video/W8dKoRjFvTY/v-deo.html - 5S: ua-cam.com/video/cJD5-G7fwmY/v-deo.html - Gemba: ua-cam.com/video/0-tmA22qjCI/v-deo.html - FMEA: ua-cam.com/video/ena1GxBwSNw/v-deo.html (a form of root cause analysis) I also like Bottleneck Analysis (the Lean version of Critical Path ua-cam.com/video/rxGcV0tuxRU/v-deo.html and Critical Chain ua-cam.com/video/CLUixYV7bok/v-deo.html) and Andon. My go-to list of lean methods is this one (www.leanproduction.com/top-25-lean-tools.html). Take a look and see what you can adapt for use on your projects.

Thank you for breaking down these business philosophies..
It's my pleasure.
Thank you, I loved this video and I like that you talk slowly and clearly
