@@ayer688 To be fair, I think of myself as a communication professional. I have been honing my ability to explain management and project management concepts for 25 years!
Thanks for this video and it's so good considering what you can teach in 5 minutes. I came here to refresh my understanding. Just wondering why it's so under rated considering the views. Also wanted to share a genuine opinion; how come Hirotaka Takeuchi and Ikujiro Nonaka didn’t get any credit for Scrum.
Thank you. I do give Takeuchi and Nonaka credit at around 0:28. They originated the metaphor and some of the key ideas of the process Agile project managers use today - though in the context of product management.
@@Onlinepmcourses Yes, you did give credits to Nonaka and Takeuchi. My question was intended to the majority of the Agile/Scrum world where we rarely see any references about them when they talk about the history/origin of the Scrum. Sorry for the confusion.
@@acebasein1205 Ah, I see. Well, most people are not interested in the history behind what they do - just the practicalities. I, however (and you too, I guess), like to give credit where it is due: see my video on the Gantt Chart! ua-cam.com/video/fB0wsdmV3Sw/v-deo.html (spoiler: not who you may think)
Thank you so much! Much more clear than my university professor explaining for 2 hours under 5 minutes!
That's great to hear!
@@Onlinepmcourses it is awful to know professors are like that :(
