A good idea. In order to effectively resist the militaristic actions and revanchist efforts of Russia in the present and future, it is necessary to unite around a strong center of power. And, of course, joining NATO is the most reasonable decision, a choice in favor of a secure future and guaranteed mutual military assistance.
Azerbaijan needs to settle its issues with Armenia fairly and first.
Armenia also needs a place in NATO.
NATO needs to provide security guarantees to applicants while they reform and before acceptance.
