1:36 There's a good chance that they'll add some type of PvE and at least 2v2 (potentially larger battles) at some point since they said they were interested in adding those in their discord👍 6:37 Bonus tip: make sure that you don't accidentally hold the T-Pose buttons while doing moves! It will change the arm length and you'll have to T-Pose again🫡 Really solid intro video👍 Always nice to see more content spreading this awesome game! That's why I started posting in the first place😂 I even made an in depth POSE tutorial for all the poses since I saw so many people struggling!
Thanks for watching and for the feedback! Thank you for the mention of the potential PvE content and the larger battles, as I said I don't spend a lot of time in the discord server. I guess I should. I didn't even think about not holding down the T-Pose buttons while doing moves, that is a good piece of advise.
Exaxctly the video I was looking for! Was having a hard time getting the very basics down, and my consistency was horrid. You explained things very well, the tips were fantastic - I feel much more confident now!
Came here because my girlfriend just bought this game (I dont have VR) and she has never seen atla. We made a little competition about who would be better, so im training now lol
Great Video - haven't startet yet since my VR Gear is yet to arrive, but this will hopefully save me a few hours of frustration :D Also the image link says: `This content is no longer available.`
It should help you get along your way. The Game tutorial is notoriously sparse. Thank you for letting me know the image is broken! It should be fixed now. Hopefully, it will stay that way.
You are very welcome, and I just made the tutorial that I would have wanted for the game. Thank you for letting me know. I tried fixing it once before, but it broke again. Hopefully, it will be good now.
Can someone explain to me how do you move in this game? It may sound dumb but this a VR game, so unless it actually has a joystick i have no idea how did he walk. I understand the running motion but I'm pretty sure he could move before using running. Also is it possible to run left and right and how? I would be grateful if my questions were answered. Have a nice day.
Thank you for the question. I play on an Oculus Rift S. Each controller has a joystick on it. The right joystick handles moving forward and backwards as well as strafing left and right. The left joystick handles turning. Here is what the controllers look like: m.media-amazon.com/images/W/MEDIAX_792452-T2/images/I/61CuzeJCHuL.jpg The running motion in game just increases your walking speed. I hope this helped!
I have a Question about this how to fix the out of reach moves I recently tried the tutorial and all of the moves are completely out of reach is there a fix for this because i have a long reach and the moves during tutorial are nearly out of my comfortable reach zone i had to be fully stretched out and nearly hitting my wall in my room because i could not reach them
So, at the beginning of the game, when you load in, you have to stretch your arms out, palms down, then hold two buttons on the controller. This is to calibrate your height and arm length. You can do this in the game at any point, and you should. The tracking can sometimes get thrown off with all the movements you are doing. The other thing to note is that there is a 'zone' where the moves come out. Your hands do not need to be in the exact position for them to work. There is some leeway. So I would recommend: first, resetting your height by T-posing, palms down, and holding the two buttons. Then practice slowly, as I mentioned in this video if you put your hands in the proper position, they will close automatically. Move your hands around slowly, in the finishing position of the move. Find a spot where they close on their own, then go into your ready position and return to the pose you just found. Remember to keep your eyes forward the whole time. It is required for you to be looking forward for the tracking to work properly. Thank you for the question!
You can buy it on steam. So far as I know, it is still only available on PC VR. Meaning your VR headset has to be hooked up to a computer in order to run it. It is not currently available for standalone headsets, but they are working on it. Thank you for the question!
Great tutorial i just started yesterday and now came to look for some tips. Thank you!
Happy to help! You picked a great game to dive into.
