Needs an alternator. You can out it in. You tube it. The battery will not stay charged and the fact her lights went out tells me that. If the alternator is bad it will not charge the battery when driving and it will die. The car will only be running off the battery. When the charge gets low your lights go first.
To cut off spent plants at the soil level, & leave dried roots in soil allows old roots to break down in place and build up clay soil. Top dressing & water both speed the composting process.

If you just cut annual plants down at soil level, the roots will compost in the ground & help build the soil. We do this in the fall & by spring, most of the roots are either gone or small enough that there is no issue planting or sowing seeds.

We actually love Costco for the clean healthy food they now carry. Lamb is very affordable, their sprouted oatmeal, avocado oil, and coconut oil, I buy their organic sugar both white cane and brown. They have the best kosher pickles, asparagus, mushrooms, organic squash, and snacks, they have Unreal brand dark chocolate candy bars that are clean mound bars, the Seite chips are gluten-free, and so much more! We go twice a month.
if the connection to the battery won't stay tight put a screw in where it is loose. two if it needs it - do this by hand so you have control - cut the top of the screw off when you are finished (finished I mean by testing that the car starts) - my friend did this to my brothers truck a year ago because I borrowed it while he was away and it just wouldn't start - to this day a year later the cut off screw is still in the terminal connectors

There will be some wonderful surprises next year. I was just thinking probably the alternator and Art said it. I hope so that's not the worst thing, not great but maneagable. And yes wood love a goof up video :) :) I will always call bloopers goof up now. Love it. Hope the car is back soon and with only a fairly minor repair. hugs

I feel you with the car troubles…i literally just had the same problem…alternator…and of course I had traveled an hour and a half from home for a specialist vet visit for my dog..so here i am in an unfamiliar city..after dark.. alone with my blind dog sitting on the side of a super busy highway!..always seems to happen in the worst possible circumstance…took 2 hours for a tow to arrive…and we finally got home after midnight thanks to some amazing friends who came to pick us up and get us home safely…was a nightmare evening to say the least. Blessings guys! ❤🙏🏻

Sounds like the alternator to me, just had that issue with my car. While charging and or getting a new battery helped for a short time it was because my alternator wasnt working correctly and putting out the amps it should

We moved on top of a hill, I only have a front wheel car, my husband did have a beat up truck, but we took it off our insurance and put our son's ALL wheel drive car he bought off his grandmother (my mom). We currently drive his car when it snows and I really should trade my car in for an all wheel drive but i love my car. We are debt free and i also love that. I really just want to run my car until it pukes. It still has a lot of life left in her. We just rolled over 100,000 miles on her. 3 kids in the back seat, it's quite tight for them, but our oldest is almost 16 and will be driving his own vehicle soon. Just keep praying this car will make it another 100,000 miles. We hate debt and definitely don't want another expensive car payment. ❤
A family of this size should have AAA. It would relieve some of the stress on entire family. Get the plan that will tow you at no charge within 100 miles free of charge as two tows are included in annual fee., They will come fix a flat, fix battery, bring gas, and more. Art you are a good and patient man.

Back in the day, my Son saved me a tow bill by grabbing an extra battery to finish our journey from break down place to fixing place...he was pretty certain it was an alternator issue. I got lucky, it was just a wire to the alternator and he was able to fix it!

If you are driving a Chrysler Pacifica, they are known for just dying on the road, when the second battery dies (its under the rearseat area).
I would say definitely your Alternator same thing has happened to us before.
