I have such bitter sweet memories of Celebrity Millennium. My parents and I did a cruise from Singapore to Vietnam almost 6 years ago. About half way through the cruise my father suffered a massive heart attack just outside the port of Phu My. Thanks to the efforts of the ships doctors he survived and was transported to Ho Chi Minh City. The wonderful Guest Relations team looked after me (I’m wheelchair bound) and my elderly Mum so well. They set us up with transport to and accommodation in Ho Chi Minh. I will never forget the awful events of that day, but I’ll also never forget and be forever grateful for the kindness and compassion of the crew. I wish I'd realized this was your ship when we were boarding the Crown at the same time lol. I knew we were going to Icy Straight the same day but didn't realize this was your ship until I saw the live stream. So close to meeting you but still so far 😂😂😂

Our 11 day on Millenium's sister ship the Summit is coming up in a bit over a month so it's great to see another M class video series from you both. Hope you have a marvelous time and congratulations on your 100th cruise, that's amazing!
we were on this cruise two weeks later, (Vancouver northbound - Sept 1-8), and we had an oceanview room on deck 2 - we were very pleased with it. We were worried about being so low in the ship in case the seas were rough, but we were fine. We were VERY disappointed in MDR menus. We aren't very picky, but the variety and creativity of the menus was lacking - very blah - Celebrity has definitely gone downhill here. Everything else about the cruise was excellent - Patrick and the activity staff were amazing.
10 years ago in August the millennium broke down in Ketchikan and we spent 4 nights there until they flew us to Anchorage. Quite an experience. Celebrity is our favorite and Alaska is at the top.
Thankee! There was a strange machinery-like hum the entire time we were in the cabin, but we eventually learned to tune it out, I guess. We forgot to even mention it in the end... oops!!
Hello from Seattle. Absolutely love your videos! I see in your room that you also use magnetic hooks. Since you have sailed on the NCL Prima twice - do they work on the walls of the Prima? Thanks so much.
Ooooh, I don't remember if we tried them on the walls of Prima! Sometimes, even if the walls fail, we've been able to attach them directly to the ceiling. We've got Viva coming up, and we'll have to give them a test again!!
Thanks! I'm happy to see someone sail in an inside room. They make the most sense to me. I'm also happy to see the Rendezvous and Sky Lounge alive and well. Did you know the Edge class ships have neither of these areas. The have events in t he Martini Bar lobby area and a smaller 2 level nightclub sort of space. Or Eden, a large multi level place. This is more charming. This upgrades add a lot of gray and blue and beige, not my favorites, but it does look fresh and new. I was on the ship when it was new and it was way, way different. Very good video.
Yes, it's a Solstice class, which would be comparable to Equinox that we've sailed before. We actually haven't done any other Solstice class ships as of yet!! :D
Please tell us about the hooks in the background. Were they there, did you bring them? If you did, are they magnetic? Thank you and sorry for beeing curious.
Congratulations on your 100 cruise and Jay you’re hysterical with your vocabulary 😂😂😂. I only have 71 cruises and none to Alaska because cold and whales don’t interest me .
I thought that as well until I took an Alaska cruise this summer. It was incredible and now I going to book another. It isn’t took cold in the summer, the whales were incredible but for me it was the stunning scenery, the glaciers and all the wildlife and the mountains.
We were on the Millennium southbound a year ago. Our first and best cruise. (2nd was POA in Hawaii. 🫤). Really looking forward to this series. Thenk you.

On their live stream they said Princess and Carnival were the better ones in their opinion. We did Princess and it was amazing!

Going on Celebrity Eclipse in 27 days. Is that bigger than Millennium?
