@@norfnorf3819I wasn’t born in the 80s either, but I’m talking more about culture of the eras, I like to study the changes in culture of decades, it’s fascinating because decades are never distinct right away, it’s a very gradual change, we tend to look back at decades retroactively as a monolith but that’s not true, it’s a very gradual change over the years and the early part of the decades is usually not much different from the previous decade, kinda like how 2020-2024 wasn’t too different from the late 2010s (besides COVID obviously lol) 1980 wasn’t much different to 1979, same with 1990 and 1989, same with 2000 and 1999, same with 2010 and 2009, but I’ve decades usually maintain a lot of influence from the previous decades up until the year that ends in 4, like 1984 which in this video feels accurate because it feels more late 70s/early 80s which is what 1984 felt like for the most part, and it encapsulates this feeling by using actual footage from 1984, making the vibes so specific, do you kinda have a better idea of what I mean lol?
