"Oh jee whiz, Oh my Gawwwd....carnage...!!!" All while riding it really quite well with some panache, dare I say. Just pulling your leg. Loved the content!
Ha ha. Thanks man. That's really kind of you and much appreciated. I can't tell you how hard that stage 2 was. Honestly, without the pressure of the camera I'd have probably given up 🤣
Did this route today. Brilliant! Tough 💪 and I can confirm that the peanut butter is still present on 🔨 time. Trail fairy plan, Careless whisper and 5yr plan were riding awesome 😎
Ha ha. Thanks buddy, that means a lot. Stage 2 is so challenging in the wet. It's not ridden enough to get down to the hard pack and it gets uber difficult in the wet. I just couldn't get the front to dig in which is the worst situation for me. The kahunas just aren't big enough 🤣
What a vid mate.. I'm exhausted just watching that, you must have slept well that night. Really enjoyed this one Jamie and hats off for another quality performance on the hill, excellent stuff
Ha ha. Thankfully I have recovered now but my legs were feeling that for a couple of days. I'd forgotten how tricky it was to ride in the wet! Looks like the trails will be dry again though!
Hammertime 😱😅. Great preview! Some really hard conditions to get decent footage in but you managed it! Our legs are feeling sore just thinking about the hush hush stage 😅 it’s a great course!
It's a wee monster of a course isn't it! IMO the two really deciding bits will be Stage 2, Hammetrime & Fairy Liquid - so technical. Also, how well people will preserve there legs. Climbs to Stage 2 and Stage 5 are legit brutal. Good luck you guys. I'll be looking out for everyone's times. Wishing you safe and fast riding 🤙
Thanks Marc. I was feeling the pressure in this one. Conditions were tough and stage 2 was right out of my comfort zone. I hate it when you lose front grip 🙈 Hope you are well mate.
@@streetpigeonmtb I wish, not good enough (yet) but I'm a keen follower of your channel and so far it has helped me try new trails, so appreciate the effort you go too, helps that you have a really good personality and your commentarries have me in stitches, we have all been there.
Well done fella, hamertime is epic in the dry, nasty in the wet though, I only found it through the guy’s in Alpine bikes, you done well in those conditions 👏👍
Folks as hard as stage 2 hammertime looks it’s actually only half the stage. The stage continues into fairy liquid for a nadgery pedally finish. Sorry!
Been taping hammertime last two days & you’ll all be glad to hear it’s dried up a lot in last 48hrs. I reckon after practice day it’ll pack down into a nice firm surface at this rate.
Great preview Jamie, I am not racing this weekend but will be at the end of the month for King & Queen so hopefully your on preview duty for that as well. Do you not fancy getting a timing chip on your wrist????
Alan, it's a good question. I've not had the racing bug this year just because I've been focused on getting to new places. Never say never though. I feel like next year could be the one to get involved though!

Ha ha. Thanks mate. You need to purchase a VR headset for the full experience! 😁

Awesome man! I haven't been back to Hammertime since 🤣
Smashed it fella 🤟🏴
Thanks mate. That's kind of you. We're you racing?

@@streetpigeonmtb anytime bro 👍
Rode Stage 1 & 2, (twice each), last weekend n the dry....you are brave soul riding them in the wet! Kudos.

Awesome content and great riding in those conditions!
Thanks man. Those conditions were something else. I wouldn't do Hammertime in those conditions again 🤣
Superb looking trails mate, and superbly rode too, great video 👍

@@streetpigeonmtb all good thanks mate, I need to get up there soon 😁👍🏻
You do. Happy to show you some of the good trails if I'm available 👍
@@streetpigeonmtb I will be taking you up on that 😃👍
Awesome effort and some climb, thanks man
No worries. Are you racing?

Great effort mate 🙌🏼 That looked like a tough day in those conditions!
Yup. Those conditions were best described as, not ideal! 🤣 So pleased to get to the end in one piece 🤙
great course preview Jamie , Hammertime into fairy liquid is a hoof to the stains for the riders. We thought they might have used daves trail.
It's going to be a real test. I think that stage will really separate the times!
I think we have our new event strap line. A hoof to the stains... 🤘🔥♥️
🤣
Quality video 👏👏. Not riding there this weekend but looks like a hoot and fair play on all the climbing 🥵. Enjoy the rest
Thanks bud. I am now fully rested and recovered. Although there is another race shortly 🙈
@@streetpigeonmtb glad you are all rested. But no rest for the wicked 😉👍
Yup!
Ace preview Jamie! The weather is going to be the opposite for the race from the looks 🙌
Yup. Looks like you guys will be getting some dry and fast trails! Enjoy 😁😁😁
Pure golden sunshine. Proper Scottish. 😎
@@tweedlove8345 taps AF! Maybe after the race though 🤣
Should have worn the all in one mate 😉. Great video as always 👌
Ha ha! That would've worked a bit... I would've died from dehydration though 🤣
Fair play to you for that 👍😁
No worries Ian. Enjoyed it! 🤙
Top work bud. I felt your pain :)
Ha ha. It was a tad painful! 🤣

Thanks mate. I'm still to hit that trail in the dry... Looking forward to it. You racing bud?
@@streetpigeonmtb I’m not good enough m8, hitting golfie Saturday though, trying hangover, Clyde & mint cake 👍
I'm sure you'd be fine. It's all a bit of fun! Golfie sounds great. I love Right Side Clyde!

Sorry!
Wasn’t sure if you just didn’t fancy it or if you hadn’t been told. So secret even the course preview rider doesn’t know it.🤣
That's called rider error! They did tell me. I totally messes up!
Oh noooo 😂

No problem lad, your video will help me as my hanger broke last week on way up to trails 😪. Be ready for action Sunday .cheers.

No worries. Enjoy Sunday mate. Hope the race goes well for you 👍
How do you even stop your brakes from locking up? 😃
It's probably my weak arms not able to pull the levers hard enough 🤣
Yeah hammer time is an interesting trail 😂
Humbling on that day 🤣 I made it down (kind of) so I'm happy with that!
@@streetpigeonmtb that rocky section with all the lines choice/chicken route.. They weren't there when i last done it.. Pretty sketchy that section
Very sketchy indeed. I got freaked by the conditions and just avoided it!
did you head glitch with ya camera
What do you mean?
