Metallica and DA were both influences when I was younger and gettin into bands around the Bay.
(Back when anyone could afford to live there)
The first time I heard Metallica was when Dave and Ron were still in the band. That was back in the tape trading days. Metallica boots were big early on.
Ah, the days of my childhood, driving around in the old truck with my dad and my brother with ride the lightning on the tape deck.

first time I see rob play a different guitar than a jackson ... his hand plays like a spider and on stage he walkes like a spider ... he is the most inspirational guitar player for me, although I play a different style ... the latest shows in California were awesome, you can see that the band feeled at home and free

1st time i heard metallica was from the album st. anger in 2003 and i thought those are the heaviest shits i've ever heard in my life. The guitars sound, the emgs from james and kirk' sound bad ass af
