Who cares if Bobby Riggs didn't throw the match. It was a middle aged guy at 55 (half way to 60) going against a 29 year women in her playing prime (still winning Grand Slams). Riggs only really good year was in 1939, 34 years before the match. Hilarious listening to women act like this was some true milestone victory. Could she have beat one of the men players in their prime at the same time? No. Just a big marketing ploy.
Hang on there sparky. Riggs is the one that developed and promoted the match. He was selling tickets and being bombastic. He was over the line quite a bit and insistent a tennis player his age would win.

Would love to see Cocktail 2. It could be done. Ill write a script for it, because no one else will. This was in 2018...she could have played Penny Benjamin in Top Gun Maverick. That would have personally been great for all Cocktail fans.
