The Vanguard is an automatic cop for me. The Vamp looks dope and I’ll probably pick one up. I always have love for GI JOE , but MY collecting and world building is more modern military.
The Vamp doesn't need doors because in the cartoons no one ever gets shot. Might as well enjoy the fresh air and breeze while you're out cruising for Cobras! 😉
Original 3 & 3/4 Vamp had no doors. Vamp in my opinion should come in at around $79-$89. The original retail price Hasbro put the Fortnite boat out at was $89 and the boat is much bigger. I know Vamp will be in higher demand than the Fortnite boat but if they keep it at around that price you'll have folks buying more than one.
dude, you are an artist, I love your dioramas and that glorious lighting you use...beautiful, they look like still shots taken from a movie. love your content, and yes that is true, you can love many different things in life, those crybabies just need to get one and stop worrying about others' opinions so much. awesome vid as always.
I know his videos are like nothing we have seen before & those crybabies just keep making comparison videos on vehicles that arent even out yet! Crazy world we live in!
I abused my Vamp M1 as a kid LOL. It was a must have, I love it. But Hasbro 2020 has been great at loosing my trust. The Vangaurd is honestly twice the vehicle. Consider this. The Fortnite boat came out at $60. Its about 4" inches lthan my 1:10thscale (bigger than 1:12 scale up) Vamps I printed, and it's got a lot more plastic etc. I think $75 would be a successful price point for the Vamp M1, and consider this will be a retail release so they will be able to make a lot more. at >75 I would get it. I think $100+ would be a greedy Hasbro grab. It does look groovy, I would love to have it. It's held a place in my heart since 82. But we'll see how greedy Hasblow gets LOL.
Very true good points and I agree the vanguard is twice the size and comes with more but we will see what price hasbro set I doubt they will be under 100 if that boat was what it was.
Interested in both but price will ultimately be the main factor for me. Depends on when and what my finances are for both. I can’t say until they drop. It’s entirely possible one could drop at a time I can handle it and the other doesn’t. I’ve not got my heart settled on either because of that.
Hopefully, it's less than $100. Clutch and the Vamp was my very 1st joe my moms could afford. Vamp is like recon vec or mule. You take her at best to VDOP, better not take her straight into a fight, lmao. Chill video as always. My Joe's and Vala are always standing tall together.
Yo my Man it's like you reached into my brain and took out everything I was wanting to say about all this and you said it so I could not agree more with everything you just said That's exactly I mean exactly what I've been thinking thank you so much for the video and thanks for always saying what I'm thinking out loud I love your channel keep it up man 🙏🙌🙌
If I’m getting one it’ll probably be classified series, for me it’s not about putting figures inside the car but having an open space to view the figures, that said if the price is too high for what it is I’ll probably go valaverse
I get ragged by a chat group I am in cause I like Valaverse and use them with my Joes. I just laugh and keep doing me cause I buy what I like, regardless. Thanks for another great video.
I'm estimating a price of around $90-95, and even that would be overcharging a bit. It's not as large or as complex as the Black Series Snowspeeder, which was $115. It's quite simplistic. Just a basic chassis, two seats and some accessories. It doesn't have much more mass than two Ram Cycles. If they don't get greedy with the price, they could sell fifty thousand of these.
The Vanguard is like a damn Escalade and the Vamp is a Jeep Wrangler. Hopefully, the Vamp is priced accordingly. Either way, I will get both. Gen. Hawk's convoy will need both!! Keep it up Ninja.
How many people would want a headquarters or a terror dome I know I do but the only way we would get would be in prices take the terror dome what if they sold only a quarter of it and if you bought 4of them you get the hold thing the same with Joes headquarters.but if you get only one piece of the terror dome it would fit in a corner perfectly
Can't tell from the images, but does anyone know if the side steps can be used to carry figures? The Vamp looks like you can carry an extra 2 figures and the Vanguard looks like it can hold an extra 4 figures.
Do not HOPE for a low price from Hasbro. DEMAND a low price from Hasbro. Hasbro does not deserve any leeway considering the shenanigans they pulled on us. Hasbro increased prices while reducing quality. Valaverse seems to be lowering prices while increasing quality.
Ok question for everyone Hasbro ghost haslab has funded and it was 500 is there any doubt now that we could get even bigger haslab for GI Joe Classified. Like sky striker night raven apc the whale or moccasins. I do believe as long as the classified series stays this strong we will get these and more
I'll be getting both. I'm excited for the vamp it was my first joe vehicle. They're both different vehicles like you said. I'm 100% with you ninja there's nothing wrong with liking both. I'm always catching flak for defending valaverse. I don't get the whole fight I'm with you about building a cool as looking military display. When you were a kid didn't you mash up all your toys and just play that's how I see it now. Give .e all the military figures so I can have a better play experience.
They will have the doors and roof on the vamp markII and the stinger, you know they will use it for everything they can. With this release they are going pure classic look down to the shovel in the front, that will come off now. I'm getting both
Ninja you're out there putting the assassination on them haters!! Keep it up 💯 💯 💯 Vehicles are something the community has been asking for. The Vamp looks cool but I'm betting the Vanguard will be a better overall offer. I'm likely going to get both unless the price ends up being crazy on the Vamp.
Good review. The Vamp will be the one i choose. I don't have a lot of space for a Vanguard. The Vamp has huge nostalgic vibes for me. I still have a 1/18 scale Vamp on my shelf. I can't see this jeep being over $100. For sure people will be buying multiples.
I think you're right about the Vamp being around $120 USD. Serpentor with his Chariot was £80 GBP (~$90 USD?) so while it'd be great for it to be less than £100 I can't see that happening.
Serpentor was an exclusive for Pulsecon in a special fancy display box. It had the convention exclusive tax added to it. That's what drove up the cost so much. If you were to take away the fancy packaging and just base it off the amount of plastic and doodads inside as compared to the flight pod which is priced $55 you'd probably see it's value sitting more around $65.
You know I am all in on the vanguards, hoping for multiple colors. But I will definitely get the vamp. it will lead to all the variants, the stinger and so on. I really wish they had done the 4 seater Vamp 2 with the doors.
Yeah the four seater with the removal doors. I’m happy with this offering I just don’t know if comparing the two makes sense at this point. You know. What if it comes under $100. Does that mean Vala should drop his price? It’s a dangerous thing to play that game I feel.
In for the Vamp strictly for nostalgic reasons. Was one of the first Joe toys I had as a kid. The Vanguard is a maybe. Space is always a problem when it comes to bigger vehicles and playsets. Considering that Serpentor was $80, I'm placing my bet on $125 for the Vamp. Love that last shot at the end of the video.
Plastic is plastic - so I’ll most likely purchase the Vamp - but I’m happy for those who purchase the Vanguard - I’m thinking 80$ to 100$ for the Vamp, plus Clutch
Yeah that’s my guesstimate as well. I’d be shocked if it went over $120. Im hoping they make an announcement soon which would mean Vala will have to bring that car down to the lowest of the price range.
So much to unpack here. While I'm not a fanboy for either manufacturer, in this case, Hasbro vs Valaverse, I have a bunch of figures from both manufacturers and love them both. I think my choice (if I even get it) would be the Vamp. For me, I would have to decide on one over the other for financial reasons. Aside from the financial portion, I have the Hiss tank coming, and another big concern I have is how the Vanguard would scale with the Hiss and I suspect it's going to be huge. Lastly, depending on the price of the Vamp, I would choose it over the Vanguard for nostalgic reasons. I had the Vamp as a kid and nostalgia is like 90% of why I collect this stuff.
Just let me live in this head space for a moment. HASBRO delivers a VAMP for $75 similar in content to the MacFarlane Batmobile. No bells, no whistles. Just a basic VAMP like in the 80's, but with doors. It will absolutely sell! If they cross $100, say in the $125 range, and it's gonna be a peg warming disaster.
I have a feeling Hasbro will surprise us with the price of the VAMP. I'm going to guess 89.99. The Trouble bubble at $54.99 and Serpentor at $79.99 would be decent comps. Considering Serpentor was some con exclusive, I'd say this vehicle is near that price.
Honestly, if the Vamp comes at a reasonable price ($75-$125) it's a cop from me. But I'm also getting the Vanguard, there's no way imma pass on that. But knowing Haslow's track record, the Vamp is probably gonna be overpriced, j/s
As much as I like Action Force, I won’t be buying the Vanguard. I don’t like the design of it, and for the price with tax I can buy two VAMPS. It’s still nice, but G.I. Joe is still the best line.
On a side note. I'm stacking up on these Polaris remote control jeeps that Articulated Ninja made a video about. I found seven of them for $3 each at a thrift store. I wish I can find a Canon instead of using these small guns from final faction. But they're going to look real good next to my hiss tanks and crimson army.
we give recognition to Bobby and Mcfarlane for their $180ish and $60 price tags for vehicles.. but, how come nobody mentions the new turtle van by playmates, for $40!!!.. and you can perfectly fit 6 joes in there no problem. i sent you pics of it on fb
And I miss the days when gas was 2 dollars but I got that turtle can hopefully I can do a video on it soon so busy lately I think that price is great as well.
@ArticulatedNinja (that gas prices comment, tho). come on, man.. that playmates Van came out in 2023 for $40.. what are you talking about? inflation? that cheap excuse business people use to excuse the price hike... the price hike is happening cause the toy industry as a whole is dying.. and we, the collectors, are helping put the final nail in the coffin
@@ArticulatedNinja both look tight. The closer they can keep the cost to $100/$150 the better! I like both lines so I'm good. But I can't help laughing at the tantrums being thrown!😆😆😆
Compared to the bikes they have put out, I'll be surprised if the vamp isn't closer to 60 or 80. It's great two have two options, and two different types of vehicle. But if that vamp is 120, that's just not worth it when the vanguard is an option if you are only getting one or building a group vehicles.
Not complaining about either vehicle but I really want a 1/12 scale Humvee. Look at the 1/18 scale Elite Force Up Armored Humvee and you will see what I mean.
I am getting both of these bad boys for the figures, I might sell the vehicles because at the end of the day I just want figures, we will see. But if I can load a lot of figures into the VAMP/Vanguard, then maybe I will keep them, but for now most likely not.
The Vamp is the right move for Hasbro's first foray into mainline vehicles (Aside from motorbikes). It has served on both sides in the GI Joe conflict, its chassis has had multiple configurations and colour schemes for reissue and it's small enough that it won't be a space hog. That being said I hope that the price does not go above $120 and in an ideal world it will be $90 for a bare bones offering. If Hasbro goes the extra mile and adds in some bells and whistles like rubber tires, an accessible engine area with detailed engine, turning front wheels with working suspension and the like, then we can start looking at $120. Regardless, we can only look and speculate at the moment. Here's hoping they make a wise choice for themselves and all collectors alike. Thank you very much for your video Articulated Ninja 👍

Hasbro probably won't do this but they could do this, but imagine them selling this for 99.99 and then retooling to a Stinger version with figure. for the same price. Then, it's "off to the races" driverless vehicle 2 pack, a Lifeline and Medi-Vamp with extra hands for GIJC figures so you could actually have the Joe's throwing up the Joe Fist, giving a thumbs up\down, saluting. Yeah I know, they'd have to know the difference between ambition and greed.. .... it's fun to imagine I guess
That’s exactly what they will do. We will get the Vamp in that desert color and the stinger. Someone here mentioned the four door version. I hope that comes out too. Plus they should have the smiling to swap out the gun turret for the missles.
It’s starting to get kinda culty with the Vala only club. Everybody should be buying ANYTHING they find appealing. Buy one, buy both, buy what you like. But this cult like behavior from very obvious people is getting old, and it’s childish. Stop the division, we gotta stick together in this community of grown mofos that buy toys. Great video as always Ninja. Keep life plastic ❤
Don’t forget the Classified Only club too. Plenty of YT content makers hate on Vala and his company. They refuse to see how the Action Force line has made Classified better. Good points made by both Ninja and you. The division is pointless.
I think the vamp set will come in around the $80-$90 mark, and then each repaint release will increase in price (whether they blame inflation or exclusivity or something else). My reasoning is because that fortnite boat was MSRP'd around the $70-$75 mark and that's when hasbro had to pay a cut. This vamp is no licensing fee to someone else, and includes a figure.
Will get them both. Used to drive my First Sgt around when I was in the service. When I get my Valaverse figure I’m going to make a personalized Hasbro figure and drive around General Hawk
I don't listen to Small-Stax anymore. His negativity has become the entire charter of his channel. I like what I like and I am not required to hate anything I don't. Things I don't buy haven't done anything to hurt me and no one who buys what I don't hasn't hurt me either. That said, I buy both Vala and Hasbro. Heck, I JUST got Covert Ops Condor in today...and if Chuckles goes up for pre-order and he's not sold out...I will get him too. :D My two cents, is the Vamp will be $89-$99. Serpentor with the chariot was $79. A friend of mine has stated that price has a tendency to be dictated by the amount of plastic. That said, I am definitely getting this. It was my first vehicle back in the early 80s.
I have my picks of different figures which speak to me I had to wait a long time to find the versions of characters I liked. So I don't mind mixing different lines to get my personal stuff.
Thank you for addressing the stupid way. People are thinking about these vehicles and hating on Valaverse. I like both of the vehicles I think they are two completely different products though.
My biggest pet peeve with VAMP is the fact there is no room for a figure to sit and operate the machinegun. One does not simply puts a machine gun in a vehicle without putting a place for him to sit down. I hope I can get a Vanguard in the future.
I just see this as the Vamp being like a infiltration Jeep in the jungle (kinda like the capture vehicles in The Lost World) lol and the Vanguard like a city armored SUV ( like something off of F&F ) or something that brings the rain I’m definitely getting both 2 vanguards and 4 vamps. But I agree I do hope the Vamp and driver is less than 100$
The one thing that the VAMP has over the Vanguard is that it is the VAMP. Oh, and it comes with Clutch. If I had to choose one, I'd take the VAMP and Clutch because if I was collecting Classified it would be to rebuild my 80s Joe collection. The VAMP scratches that itch, the Vanguard doesn't. I really don't understand why you emphasize so much the vehicle capacity of the Vanguard; holding more figures isn't inherently better. As you said, these are two very different vehicles with two different jobs. The VAMP is what it has always been. If I want a FANG copter, I don't care if a competing helicopter holds 7 figures, but if I am looking for a troop carrier that would be a factor. Both vehicles look great. If you have the space and money, there's no reason you can't or shouldn't buy both.
I'm def going for both, My only gripe with the Vangaurd is that looks like its going to be produced in desert tan instead of green. I understand it's still not final yet though, and it still looks great anyway - so it's a nit-pick at best.

@@patientmental875 agreed
I want to see how big the vamp is and if I can easily mod it to be rc since it really has a design that looks like it lends itself to being an rc car.
I am hoping to pick up up maybe a third of the stuff I want of all the lines I enjoy.
Really want both, Valaverse's truck is higher on my list for its realism.
I agree
Interested in both but price will ultimately be the main factor for me. Depends on when and what my finances are for both. I can’t say until they drop. It’s entirely possible one could drop at a time I can handle it and the other doesn’t. I’ve not got my heart settled on either because of that.
Hopefully, it's less than $100. Clutch and the Vamp was my very 1st joe my moms could afford. Vamp is like recon vec or mule. You take her at best to VDOP, better not take her straight into a fight, lmao. Chill video as always. My Joe's and Vala are always standing tall together.
The Vamp has always basically been a Jeep, and Vamp Mark I never had doors. It's doing precisely what it's supposed to do.
Valaverse and Classified are the Brady Bunch of my collection, the perfect blended family
I get ragged by a chat group I am in cause I like Valaverse and use them with my Joes. I just laugh and keep doing me cause I buy what I like, regardless. Thanks for another great video.
🙏🏽 thanks and you got "ragged" by small minded individuals
I would rather get the Vamp because its Joes but both look fine.
Again you bring valuable information and points i am going to get both of them great video
🙏🏽 thanks for hearing me out
Going to have to start a few warehouse/garage diorama builds to hold all these vehicles
75 for the vamp is about where i want to live.
Can't tell from the images, but does anyone know if the side steps can be used to carry figures? The Vamp looks like you can carry an extra 2 figures and the Vanguard looks like it can hold an extra 4 figures.
Yea that's accurate about both on the outside
Do not HOPE for a low price from Hasbro.
DEMAND a low price from Hasbro.
Hasbro does not deserve any leeway considering the shenanigans they pulled on us.
Hasbro increased prices while reducing quality.
Valaverse seems to be lowering prices while increasing quality.
Very true
I'm more interested in the vanguard, I like the bulk and protection. I might get the vamp and do a mad max build.
Post what it looks like when you get that done. I’d be interested in that
Ok question for everyone Hasbro ghost haslab has funded and it was 500 is there any doubt now that we could get even bigger haslab for GI Joe Classified.
I'm getting both
Good point
Ninja you're out there putting the assassination on them haters!! Keep it up 💯 💯 💯 Vehicles are something the community has been asking for. The Vamp looks cool but I'm betting the Vanguard will be a better overall offer. I'm likely going to get both unless the price ends up being crazy on the Vamp.
Think $175 for any vehicle is nuts
Good review. The Vamp will be the one i choose. I don't have a lot of space for a Vanguard.
The Vamp has huge nostalgic vibes for me. I still have a 1/18 scale Vamp on my shelf. I can't see this jeep being over $100. For sure people will be buying multiples.
I think you're right about the Vamp being around $120 USD. Serpentor with his Chariot was £80 GBP (~$90 USD?) so while it'd be great for it to be less than £100 I can't see that happening.
Good points I hope they don't go more than 130
Serpentor release 3 cost me 72$ US
Serpentor was an exclusive for Pulsecon in a special fancy display box. It had the convention exclusive tax added to it. That's what drove up the cost so much. If you were to take away the fancy packaging and just base it off the amount of plastic and doodads inside as compared to the flight pod which is priced $55 you'd probably see it's value sitting more around $65.
@@Marneus28 it got released two more times on pulse 72$
Did hasbro say of its gonna have rubber tires
It's about 3x the size of the air chariot so has more plastic and accessories I doubt it will be less than 100 but ofcourse I'd want it to be as well.
Honestly, if the Vamp comes at a reasonable price ($75-$125) it's a cop from me. But I'm also getting the Vanguard, there's no way imma pass on that. But knowing Haslow's track record, the Vamp is probably gonna be overpriced, j/s
True
As much as I like Action Force, I won’t be buying the Vanguard. I don’t like the design of it, and for the price with tax I can buy two VAMPS.
It’s still nice, but G.I. Joe is still the best line.
On a side note. I'm stacking up on these Polaris remote control jeeps that Articulated Ninja made a video about. I found seven of them for $3 each at a thrift store. I wish I can find a Canon instead of using these small guns from final faction. But they're going to look real good next to my hiss tanks and crimson army.
I've not gotten any of those yet, but even online at full price they are hard to beat, and can be customized
Nice score man that price is a crazy good deal.
we give recognition to Bobby and Mcfarlane for their $180ish and $60 price tags for vehicles.. but, how come nobody mentions the new turtle van by playmates, for $40!!!.. and you can perfectly fit 6 joes in there no problem.
i sent you pics of it on fb
i still think these vehicles are too expensive. and if hasbro pulls a Vamp for $60, they are once again pulling a fast one on the customers
And I miss the days when gas was 2 dollars but I got that turtle can hopefully I can do a video on it soon so busy lately I think that price is great as well.
@ArticulatedNinja bruh.. if anyone can pimp that ride for 6in figures, its you.. that why i came to you 🤣🤣🤣 cant wait for that video
The VAMP needs to be less than $80.
The VAMP is less than half the size of the Valaverse truck.
Facts ninja! Idk why “they” get butt hurt 😅 but u doing great work filling us in!
Haters can pick all the sides they want, I'm buying what I can afford and have space for. . .
Just glad it isn't a crowdfund item.
Very true I'm glad either are not crowdfunds.
@@ArticulatedNinja both look tight.
The closer they can keep the cost to $100/$150 the better! I like both lines so I'm good. But I can't help laughing at the tantrums being thrown!😆😆😆
Yo Ninja! You coming up to MA for ChrisCon Sunday? Be cool to see you again brother!
Compared to the bikes they have put out, I'll be surprised if the vamp isn't closer to 60 or 80.
It's great two have two options, and two different types of vehicle. But if that vamp is 120, that's just not worth it when the vanguard is an option if you are only getting one or building a group vehicles.
Serpentor was 80 so this will be more most likely
The Vanguard looks way better but the vamp is a good addition as well, as long as it's not to expensive.
Question what character of Gala draw is the leader of the bad guys I am just starting to collect them
Do you think that because valaverse are bringing out the vanguard that hasbro feel the need to bring out the vamp
Maybe they pushed up the schedule for it sure sooner rather than later due to the vanguard.
Dude let’s be real. These two offerings are killer. I just wish this silly compare stuff wouldn’t happen. It does neither company any good.
right on bro !guys lets just enjoy this ride! great time to be an action figure collector! woooo!
Great job as always Ninja! 👍👍
Dude I'm so glad you said "stupid ninja" because I thought you were gonna go somewhere else with that one lol.
i know its dreaming but if they could somehow compete with todd and sell it for 80-100$ that would break the toy world.
I got the jada toys street fighter ryu......i cant express how incredible happy i am....im crying holding this figure😢..what a time to be alive and to love this Hobby and toy community, the good the bad and the ugly as a whole👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯
I will be speaking about soon how amazing those figures are
While I don't collect vehicles in this scale. I am curious which one will be the best.
I like both and the best will end up being the one that persons personal preference is. Basically based on preference or perspective.
Nothing against Bobby. He is making amazing products! I am just a G.I. Joe nastolga 80s kid.
Thank you 🙏🏽
I think the vamp set will come in around the $80-$90 mark, and then each repaint release will increase in price (whether they blame inflation or exclusivity or something else).
My two cents, is the Vamp will be $89-$99. Serpentor with the chariot was $79. A friend of mine has stated that price has a tendency to be dictated by the amount of plastic. That said, I am definitely getting this. It was my first vehicle back in the early 80s.
🤣 small stax 😂🤣 but yea good points though I don't see it being cheaper than 100 I can sure hope it will be as well
The Vamp is supposed to be coming out in retail so I can’t think it’ll be over $100
Hey Ninja, where did you get that black baseball cap on your fig?
Dc collectibles red arrow
@@ArticulatedNinjaThanks!
Cool this is the first I'm seeing this Vamp. Knowing Corporate greed I think it will probably be between $150.00 - $175.00
Unfortunately I think you may be right smh that's gonna suck
My biggest pet peeve with VAMP is the fact there is no room for a figure to sit and operate the machinegun. One does not simply puts a machine gun in a vehicle without putting a place for him to sit down.
I hope I can get a Vanguard in the future.
I just see this as the Vamp being like a infiltration Jeep in the jungle (kinda like the capture vehicles in The Lost World) lol and the Vanguard like a city armored SUV ( like something off of F&F ) or something that brings the rain I’m definitely getting both 2 vanguards and 4 vamps. But I agree I do hope the Vamp and driver is less than 100$
Im hoping $79.99
I emphasized size and storage for price projection comparisons ones way bigger than the other that's all.
I hope someone can 3-D print some gull doors that can clip onto the frame of the Vamp's door frame.
I'm def going for both, My only gripe with the Vangaurd is that looks like its going to be produced in desert tan instead of green.
I understand it's still not final yet though, and it still looks great anyway - so it's a nit-pick at best.
One is a jeep the other is an assault SUV. I'm looking forward to the Mad max/Zombie customs of these.
I cannot wait to mod em 🤣
Absolutely no contest, the vamp wins hands down. That said I think the Vanguard is cool and I have no problem with others who are not me wanting one
