Amusingly enough the frustration I had with this hunt was what made me switch from swaxe to insect glaive. Doesn't seem so bad now that I see someone else do it, but I guess I'm bad at heavy weapons 😅
@@Naarii14 It's a speedrun so it looks easy but in a real hunt when u dont stagger him all the time he really can be annoying. So its just a punching bag with good hitzones 🤗 IG is easier in my opinion. Always focus on chest if you can.

I just got into master rank and I really love switch axe but it takes me 20 minutes to kill stuff even like Rathians... What am I doing wrong? And they never stagger anymore or clagger or topple.
Hey Slinnee don't worry and don't quit. The way to a Master Hunter is a long and beautiful journey so enjoy it. It's not about time its all about have fun and enjoy this masterpiec of a game and have fun. I could write you a book about becomming better and abilitys and hitzones values and so on ;) I'll give you a few Basic tipps to improve your game and have more fun. 1. Switch Axe is a awesome weapon with good dmg potential BUT it's a very difficult weapon and with many bad matchup. Bad i mean hard when u don't know all the monsters attacks and can't dodge all inc attacks. Use more Axe mode, better to dodge and you're faster on the legs. 2. Switch Axe is 90% all about Raw Dmg and not elemental dmg keep that in mind. 3. Focus on weak spot and take your time when hunt. Head is always the best option to attack but many monsters have good hitzone values on tail, legs u can see a list on the internet. 4. Optimize your build. Its all about Krit dmg, krit chance, Weakness Exploit and Agitator. Try to get as many Krit chance u can get. Krit boost, Weakness super important. 5. Learn a monsters moveset and know when u can attack. But this takes many hours to master and stamina to master. In my videos it looks easy but a speedrun is never easy and has nothing to do with a normal hunt. And i play monster Hunter since Monster Hunter Freedom 2 witch released in 2007 ;) I played all Monster Hunter games since then at least 500 hours and World/Iceborne 4500h today. Enjoy the game, have fun, craft cool weapons and armor, rest when u cant beat a monster and came back later.
@@fataripper5353 I got stuck on Barioth, he kills me in 2 hits and it's very hard to dodge his attacks and I don't think I can get better gear than I currently have and it doesn't seem like there's many openings.
I barely started re playing again a week ago and always used the switch axe but I would say I’m still early end game. And I got back into it cuz I decided to say screw it and buy ice borne and I’m getting killed left and right. So seeing this video gives me hope to grind it out and get somewhere close to your level one day!!
Welcome back to Monster Hunter bro! Iceborne was hard for all us at the beginning but it gets easier with every monster u kill ;) Switch Axe is the "hardest/difficult" weapon to play. Low mobility, no shield but one uf the coolest weapon and the dmg output can be insane. As u can see in this or other videos haha. For speedrun i often use ZSD spam coz the dmg is a bit higher than regular atk with sword and axe. But in non speedrun hunts i always play like vs jho no ZSD spam. No master was born as a master its a long way to become a Pro Hunter haha. I play since freedom 2 every game and thats a few hours ^^ I'm glad to inspired u and maybe we see us one day ingame.
I’m trying! First I’m trying to unlock better switch axes learning builds etc. But what I really need is jewels too. Currently running the deviljho switch axe before the final Evo with the eye patch, Dober chest piece, devil jho gauntlets, and I used the Vaal hazak legs cuz I was tryna farm it before my original break! So it’s a lot to get used to but I can do this. I now have new tutorial videos on how to speed run a beast thanks to you 😏 keep it up! New fan!!
My armor is heckin strong now my old armor was weak and when i was hunting acidic glavinus savage devil joe keeps following me and acidic glavinus amd it was anoyying🙄

Evasion mantle prog gives you a insane amount of dmg boost keep that in mind. Fatalis switch axe for max dmg, switch axe is not really a elemental based weapon with raw power you're better. Wound his chest and focus on that. Try to stunlock hime as you seen in this videos. I have a faster run with Switch axe on Jho. You find it in the video description

My bar goes also down when i use sword attacks. I often switch to axe mode to refill the bar. When u mean the whole sword/axe glow whatever topleft it stays for amount of time when fulli charged. Power prolonger keeps the buff longer active. Very usefull for Switchaxe.

ZSD bad against Jho. U can kill him much faster with normal Switch Axe moves. I anyway prefer normal fight with Switch Axe. but for many Speedruns ZSD Spam is better, kinda sad. When i play solo or with friends i never use ZSD :)
Thanks 😊 Kjarr Swaxe its from safi jiva. Draining my life is from the safi jiva armor. It was the best before fatalis. Jho has high elemental weakness against thunder and dragon.
The Sword mode is stronger. But u have to switch modes to be effective. I mean the sword bar is fast empty so u switch to hold the bar full. Rolls, dodges and repositioning is axe mode better. Also for high range atk. or quick pokes axe is good. So u can play whatever u prefer 🤗
