Love all 3 and have the first two as first press. Stillborn at least from Listenable. Everything with Rob Barrett and Alex Marquez is great. Do you own "The Sentencing" by Solstice?
Love the first two Malevolent Creation albums. Had to pick up Retribution on that blue vinyl, had hoped for a black version of course, but........ Do still have my OG copy of The Ten Commandments, and Stillborn is one I'm happy to have just on cd, not a very well produced album. Cheers. 🤘🤘
I know you just bought these but the Ten Commandments reissue on Hammerheart records is probably the best reissue vinyl hands down. It was around 45$ but its a double with the demos on one side. I need to order retribution I will probably wait til the US distros get one.
The two first Malevolent Creation albums are undying classics for me, but for some reason 'Stillborn' never really clicked with me, which is strange considering that Alex 'The Brutalizer' Marquez played the drums on it, and he is one of my favorite drummers of all time.. 🤷 (Controversy aside, I must say though, that the next album 'Eternal' probably is my personal favorite Malevolent Creation album all together; that one is just SO brutal and intense! 🤘)
Same here, the production totally messed it up - sounded like shit compared to Retribution - I have , over the years, grown to appreciate it a bit more
@@under-one-flag I agree that the production don't do the material on that particular album any flavours; much like the production on Suffocation's 'Breeding the Spawn' album. 🤔
Yes, Bret came back for two other albums later on. I didn't specifically call that out so saying it here.
Yeah, The Fine Art of Murder is up there with some of their best work 🤘🏻
Malevolent Creation is so underrated and I feel underappreciated. They are so good.
I can't wait for these!
12:55 I love that demo disc. Got a copy myself!
Love these records, all three are classics in my opinion.
Think I'm going down the Malevolent creation rabbit hole...enjoyed the video as always.
Malevolent Mel
I've been waiting for these. Thanks for sharing

Im aware of them. They cant be found anywhere and sell for stupid prices unfortunately.
@@MelanieLovesDeathMetal dang I just check on that. I paid 56$ back in July. guess I lucked out
Yeah you got lucky! I almost bought one for 80$ a few months ago and told myself to wait. I'm glad I did.
The Hammerheart reissues are top shelf. They did a great job with the early Pestilence albums too 🤘🏻
I want to get the first 2 on CD.

Does it say somewhere in the sleeve if Peter Tagtgren from Hypocrisy played on the Malevolent Creation Demos? He did play drums for them early on.
