how are you able to hit the walls/bed, i thought you couldnt damage the base
Walls and doors won't get any damage if it gets a hit. Beds, recall tiles, anvils and other structures like that are able to be damaged and destroyed.

When a dog/any tamable creature dies .. they aren't existing anymore. You need to tame another if you want one again.

Dog spawns randomly in any floor in the underworld.
@@INFINITOIDz if i miss a dog on a floor and go to the next one will i find another one if i go deeper?

The no. of floors you'll need will depend on the distance of the uncovered grass/road tile.
