Makes me wonder if this product was developed by a third party and they just licensed it to cheaply release with their brand on it. It's that way for various store brand products, they're just made by other companies and the stores put their logo on them.

My office used to use that model Master lockbox a year ago to securely hold a key outside the front door. We currently don't use it anymore, and everyone has their own code for a new electronic keypad system on the front door.
I went to a friends storage unit today to find Master Lock M530XQLH Magnum on the unit. When I was leaving I asked the guy working there if I could throw some trash away. When we got to the dumpster I saw that they locked their trash up with ABUS 83/45-300 S2 Schlage. Just thought you would get a kick out of it!

@@alexmentes1348 you can still access the unlock solenoid contacts in a lot of them. it doesn't matter how secure the credentials are when you can bypass that whole part.

They are references to the model because companies like Master make a shitload of locks that are almost the same but slightly different so the pick/decode technique that works on one may not work on a similar looking lock that is a different model.

I demonstrated this exploit to a company I worked with a year ago. To their credit, they stopped selling them, but I didn't have any good recommendations for a replacement key box that wasn't just as bad. Anyone know if there's a brand/model that stands up well to decoding attacks and brute force?

I would assumed that combination locks are mostly used on "less-secure" place, like locker. The circular lock thingy is pretty good concept. Unfortunately, most of it can be bypassed by putting metal into the locking mechanism
It would be great if you could demonstrate the picking of a Fichet F3D. Although I understand if you are unable to as the cylinder does cost around £400 to £500.

That's my preferred method, it works for a lot of these type of locks
He’s shown the pulling method in other videos but it doesn’t work on all locks of this type. Unfortunately I don’t remember the exact details though.

Present realtor lockboxes are operated with a cell phone app. You should try one of those
He had several similar "digital" locks on, they tend to be poorly made and often can be opened by bridging wires on the non secure side
