Wait...at 2:12, did anyone else notice the third wheel jump unprompted from the '9' position to the '0' position to get the correct code? It's almost like LPL set it incorrectly at first, but the lock unlocked itself out of respect, or perhaps even fear, for him.
...He finally did it, he actually scared a lock into unlocking with his presence alone!

I have a house that's going to be for sale soon. What lock box would you recommend then to secure the keys, but allow access for realtors to show the property?

I literary had a thought today.
Wonder if LPL did *this lock* that the landlord here uses for the Airbnb.
Boy, she is going to loooove this

@@cocoa1oo2 not gonna do anything illegal, but the Airbnb visitors veeery often leave the thing open, so literary anbody that comes off the street can change the combination. so if shit goes south, I can literary save the day =)

Could you also open this one by hitting it on the left side? Because of the spring loaded pin?

Been watching through these videos. Starting to feel like the only lock that would be considered the most secure, is one like a tezla that isn't present externally xD

Question: Are you aware of any code wheel lockbox, that does not have the same vulnerability?

So what's the best way to block any insertion between the wheels and body without hindering the wheels' motion and mechanism?

Given how the last few videos have been going, I was thinking (hoping) that the title meant that LPL was going to use the Abus lock to pick the Master Lock...

BTW: Are there *any* good (mechanical) combination locks that cannot be decoded easily?

  • @2Fast4Mellow

Would this lock be more secure if it had a fixed code?
I somehow have the feeling the mechanism that is used to change the code, it also the one that is exploited here..

I doubt it, the bar at the back that LPL is putting his feeler blade against would be part of the design even if it was monocode

Are there any decent combination locks? (lol at the third wheel decoding itself!)

    • @cypherusuh
      @cypherusuh 5 років тому

I would assumed that combination locks are mostly used on "less-secure" place, like locker. The circular lock thingy is pretty good concept. Unfortunately, most of it can be bypassed by putting metal into the locking mechanism

It would be great if you could demonstrate the picking of a Fichet F3D. Although I understand if you are unable to as the cylinder does cost around £400 to £500.

  • @stevenvachon9745

Is there a code wheel lock that is not easily picked? Or at least some sort of numerical code lock? LPL seems to debunk them all.

Ok thanks, but then which is a better lock that also comes with a possibility to attached it somewhere?
