- Bought this from my boys to use when we go hunting. Wanted them to have something they could sit in. Overall not a bad unit. Cost be $69.99 plus tax.
Lol you’ve assembled it incorrectly. I have this exact blind and the loops on the outside are for the tie down ropes for wind. There are literally sleeves on the inside where those poles go. Have a closer look - it’s literally on the instructions. But we are men after all - instructions are a coaster to lay our beer/coffee while we figure it out ourselves LOL
Somehow I have figured this out right at the first try.
Any chance you have shot through the mesh with a bow/crossbow? Just got this and I feel like the mesh will mess with the bolt flight
No I haven't.......it might mess it up.....not sure
I just bought this same blind. Are you sure about those poles going there? I cannot believe they would make it so that the base of the poles are just resting on a loop, rather than a "cupped" piece of fabric, like you said in the video. Seems like a very bad design. I looked for a set-up video for this reason alone, thinking that I must be missing something.....good video by the way
Yes, that's the design. I agree....poor design. We don't always use the pokes depending on who's in the blind and so forth. Don't always need them so them it saves time. I'm thinking of maybe sewing the bottom of loops shut.
Think the loops on the outside are sorta twisted so the 2rods rest in them. Ameristep doghouse has cups in the inside to put the ends in
At least yours is actually woodland camo. Mines green….
Video putting it back in the sack it came in
Yes, I will do that. Once you do it then you understand it
Assembled incorrectly. The poles go in sleeves in the interior. You obviously don’t literally shoot through the mesh. You unlatch a corner and shoot….
Common sense is dead.
Absolutely.
You can shoot through the mesh actually, it’s literally called “shoot through mesh” i don’t know if I’d recommend it on some crazy long precise shot but 99% of the time it’s fine
