I’m a straight single mum of 3 little girls. I don’t know who they’ll fall In love with throughout their lives, but I adore that they are growing up with role models like Schitt’s Creek. They can love who they love and worry about the same things everyone else worries about and their closets will be for their clothes, not their hearts. Dan Levy and all the writers and production team - Schitt’s Creek might be ending......but I’m so excited to witness the world of love, humour and sarcasm you will go on to produce.

Oh my god, this comment was so sweet. I’m so glad you feel that way about this show because as a 19 year old who who she’s is seen this when I was struggling in high school with my own sexuality. I love that way you ended it with their closets will be for their clothes not their hearts. Because it made me just see a teen just growing up lgbtq and coming to terms with it without having to experience that deep self hatred and wondering why they are the way they are and feeling wrong and disgusting for being themselves. It’s a beautiful thought honestly and I know someday people will grow up this way. You sound like a good parent and I appreciate you
I’ve never liked a show as much as Schitt’s Creek. I’ve never felt as safe as when I’m in its world. I’ve never known love as free to grow as when I’m watching it. It’s not been an easy few months for any of us, but knowing that it will always be there for us makes everything okay. Thanks to Dan, Eugene and all the cast, crew and writers for creating this perfect gem of a show that has shown us how beautiful the world could be. They will never truly understand what they have given us or how much their beautiful creation has meant to us. Our effusive thanks is but a mote of dust in the beam of sunlight we bask in thanks to them. We will forever be indebted to them for the joy they have given us in 22 minute segments and I wish nothing but the best of luck with all future endeavours. I think that the fact that there is no homophobia or bigotry in Schitt's Creek is wonderful and that is why it means so much to LGBTQAI+ people and their allies. There never needed to be an angsty episode where people were commenting on David's Pan-sexuality, Patrick being Gay, Jake being Polyamorous (although I suspect that Jake is a Sexual Hedonist rather than Poly) or Ronnie being a Lesbian. Everyone just accepts everyone for who they are, and wouldn't that be a wonderful world to live in?
this shows so much love, admiration and respect from Dan’s co-actors and actual friends, Annie, Noah and Emily. such a perfect intro to the man who has and have continually showed acceptance, selfless and genuine love in his show. so much happiness, pride and love going around for Dan, and that is just correct.
Shchitts Creek is such a beautiful show, Dan Levy is a beacon of hope and graciousness. I hope his next project is as equally inspiring to people all over the world🥰

This show is such a refreshing change for LGBTQs. What I'm used to seeing is the over-the-top, flamboyant, obnoxious caricatures of the LGBTQ community, and to be honest, it gets annoying. This is the first example I've seen that captures the humanity and honesty of living that lifestyle in a "normal" and unassuming way. As a straight female, I found myself rooting for David and Patrick and completely accepting them without prejudice, and it was because of the way Dan presented the characters. He did it without making them a spectacle and I really appreciated that. I have much more compassion for those who are different from me now. Dan Levy truly is a pioneer and a genius. The LGBTQ community is very lucky to have him as a voice.
It's very disappointing to learn that they are price gouging on ticket prices for their cast tour.(for NYC at least) All the good closer seats are about $300 to $400. What's that about? I've never seen anything like that. And I'm from NY. And many of those seats are still available because of it. Just awful. So only extremely rich people who may not even enjoy the show as much as most people will get to see the cast from rows 1 through 8. Ghastly wrong. It made me not want to see them. Even the seats further back were questionably priced for just a cast gathering. This has a name folks. It's called greed. And who would have expected it, coming from these guys? They may wish to consult Randy Rainbow (and every other comedy performer) on his pricing. He's touring all over the place and doesn't attempt to price gouge, and he has a real show, not just a sit down panel discussion. Why would this cast want to do an interview where they know that all the people in the entire front section are dumb or rich enough to pay $400 for an hour long talk? That's not the spirit of their amazing show or characters.
Are you sure those aren't re-sale tickets? I have tickets for the Las Vegas show (8th row center) and my tickets were $157 each including the tax and fees. Base price was $129.
I felt the same way. They came to my town and the tix were @ $500. I was floored. It doesn’t change how I feel about Dan Levy or the show but it was still a big disappointment.
