The most complete all round female figure skater - the jumps are huge and long (not a spin in the air and down), the edge take offs are perfect, no pre-rotation on take off and no cheated landings. Smooth glide, expressive connection to the music. Very well choreographed and laid out program. AND, makes the difficult look so easy. No wonder she is Queen Yu Na.
not only her jumps are huge and long, her upper body is so relaxed going in and out of them. It just makes her jumps so aesthetically pleasing

This is the most engaging free skate ever. Lyrical, effortless, filled with joy. Still the gold standard.
Such an amazing technician. Textbook jumps. She just sailed through that performance--you didn't feel like any part of it was a struggle. You wouldn't know she was competing at the biggest event of her life if it weren't for all of the Olympic rings everywhere. She was that calm and relaxed during the performance.
Anyone one else come back and watch this every Winter Games just to remind yourself what skating looks like? and what to look for in skaters this year. The bar has never really been met since her

This program is extraordinary because Yuna was under IMMENSE pressure to win gold. The stakes were unimaginably high, and she DELIVERED. Well deserved Olympic title.
The recent Russian girls can not overcome Yuna, even with the quad jumps.

We all know that she is the rightful double Olympic champion. But hey, the medal design in Vancouver looks much better than the one in Sochi anyway (not saying this out of spite, it's my genuine opinion). Such textbook technique and equisite presentation

Yuna is the skater that tells you what jump is that jump. They always say how she was lazy with stretching/transitions and excessive crossovers, but no skater come close to her technical excellence and artistry. She is one heck of a performer...the Queen still reigns. 👑👸

You hit the nail on the head... There will never be any other skater who can explain better what the figure skating is all about.
This would be a 250 to 260 point Olympic score today. Even without an ultra jump. I don't think there's any Yuna is not only the greatest ladies figure skater of all time but the most beautiful ladies figure skater of all time too.
For those who know the game how does Anna at 17 compare with Yuna at 19? Anna has the ultra jumps but yuna has the skating skills that are the greatest.

She was born in a place where there is no ice rink for figure skating, so she had to spend a lot of money while studying abroad. She tried to make an ice rink, but Korea said no. Korea still hasn't changed and there is still no rink for figure skaters. Her juniors still go to the rink in other countries

Мне было интересно о ком говорят корейцы. Часто о ней слышала, наконец-то я её увидела. Сначала и не заметила что это 2010 год. И действительно очень сильная фигуристка. Теперь понятно почему корейцы ее боготворят.😁👍
