Thanks Mr Amaya.I had the same issue.I was stuck in Little Rock ,Arkansas,about 2000 miles away from home.Took it to Petro for Regen($110) ,truck failed to clear codes so I took it to stealership ,they tried to clear the codes via computer after Regen but were unsuccessful.It being Friday ,they said come back monday.so I waited at truck stop.Luckily I came across this video ,and it did the trick.I was able to make it home by Sunday.I called dealership as they had a work order of my truck.They said fine you fixed your truck but you owe us $351 for our unsuccessful diagnosis .I gave themm my credit card number they sent me the invoice.I really appreciate what you are doing for drivers like me .
at about the 3:30 mark you push a long bolt into the inj housing. NOT good enough. remove the 2 13mm bolts that hold the housing to the S pipe and clean All the carbon out. I use a Christmas tree brush (cat inj cup brush) on a battery drill. the hole is approx. 1" in diameter. if you only clean out a small portion it will plug again in short time. btw this is cause by too much idleing. egr cooler cracking from too much idleing too. quit idleing the engine. run the pony motor if you have one.

I did that to my truck because i had to force regen that helped for two and half weeks but u had to force regen again, the strange thing is that my DEF level is full but the amber light in the DEF level blinks all the time, i have had my truck for seven months and never asked for the regen process.... Three forced regens all ready,,,need help.....
+Victor Garcia If the DEF light is blinking that means that you have a SCR conversion efficiency low code active, you have to monitor the SCR NOx sensors performance and see where is the problem coming for.
if the def level is full and the light is still blinking the float in the def tank may be stuck. step 1 put a clean stick into the def tank to verify you do have def. when everything is operating correctly you should be burning 3-4 gallons of def for every 100 gal of diesel. keep track of it and that goes a long way to diagnosing def problems.

Frank thank you for your videos very helpful. I'm having a code spn 4364 fail 18 aftertratment. I cleaned dozer valve and replaced injector. Regen is good but after driving with load engine light both come back. Also i had a sensor that was bad changed it too i think it was the DOC sensor. That cleared. So now this code 4364 fsil keeps coming back. I took it to dealer I keep getting charged a substantial amount of money. Can you give me some suggestions?
+David Moran The 4364/18 means: SCR CONVERSION EFFICIENCY LOW And this means that your scr performance is low and the computer sets the code as a warning The codes could be for many reasons Bad Nox sensors. Bad DEF quality Bad DEF pump Bad DEF dozing Bad SCR box Coolant contamination Exhaust leaks Fuel/oil contamination Etc,.. You need to check all that to know the cause of your problem.
Have you had any Nox sensors replaced? You would need Diagnostic Link to monitor the Nox sensors. But unplug the def doser connection and run a low temp ATD to check Nox sensors. They should be within 50ppm of each other. If not replace outlet first and re run if still not then replace the inlet Nox sensor. Once they are reading with in 50ppm of each other reconnect doser valve electrical connection and run park regen. And you should be 70% or higher conversion... that’s where I would start first.. there is a lot issue under this code can be promblem

I have an active code spn 3556 Dash says - aftertreatment injector Keep truckin definition says - Aftertreatment 1 hydrocarbon doser 1 I did this cleaning on mine and the code is still active. What else could be the problem.???Also the metering unit is only like 2 months old so I don’t think the issue is a blockage in there, guess it could be but not likely. Any suggestions??????????

My 2010 Cascadia is making me do a Regen everyday. I had the filter cleaned two months ago then took my truck to Freightliner to reset the ash level and clear codes. I was about to just buy a new DPF filter. But I should try this first. Is that a 1/4" by 4" bolt you use to push out the carbon?
Hi Francisco,your videos are so helpful Thankyou, I maintain a small mixed fleet in Australia we have 5 epa07 dd15's one of them has just had a dpf replacement and now seems to be having a few issues when doing its regen,when you slow down like driving thru a small town when you start accelerating it blows heaps of light blue smoke like the doser is not cutting back the fuel flow, it still does the regen without any problems just the smoke , did a forced regen no problem but when I took it for a drive it puffed blue smoke when I accelerated only took no more than 10 seconds to clear up, I was wondering if the doser injector is not shutting off as at full throttle it sounds like it is doing a regen even when it's not ,just wondering if you have ever had anything like this ,Cheers Peter.

Hey Francisco. I have Cascadia DD15 EPA 10. Trying to change doser injector. But fuel line connection seized and twisting the line. I’m Afraid to brake a line. Do you have any suggestions how to do it without braking anything.
That is very common problem to find. You can get a small torch and pre heat the line and then try to get it loose. You repeat the process until it comes out.
I have 2011 Cascadia . I have cleaned my filters ( Dry one ) but Now my truck ask for park regen in every 2nd day. Before cleaning my truck usually ask regen in every 2 week . Francisco Amaya i fixed it. It was exactly what this video is about. I cleaned it but that wasn’t enough so I replaced it. It regenerated like a brand new vehicle and the codes went away in the process. I am using a Snap On Prolink Ultra scanner. I appreciate your videos and response.

What about if it is not it getting enough fuel. My problem is the nozzle is not spraying enough. It doses at 10 % with 22psi. I just changed the doser block and nozzle ? Help this thing is killing me lol
also i think it may be stuck in doc face cleaning mode because it is build more pressure now 38psi just not dosing when the doc inlet is 600+ it does self test but still no spraying currently i am letting the 4 hour regen go it says it will run a 45 min regen after it is done face cleaning have you done one of these before or ever ran into that problem it is dd15 2012 cascadia
It was stuck in doc faceplug cleaning mode.. I had to let it run 4 hours and 45 min it finally started spraying. At first it wouldn't spray only the temps, would get up to 725 doc in / out dpf out.. then after doc face plug cleaning it started a regent.

+Jeremy Kura I can't pull the exact information about the code but the code number and the description tells me that the metering unit is not working properly. It goes on the passenger side behind the side fender between the DPF filters and the fuel tank.
@@franciscoamayaYT Its a 2012 DD15 cascadia. I figured it out. It was covered it carbon I cleaned it out just like the video and ran a manual regen and it started working again. Doser was at 17% at the end of the regen.

+Maikel Barreto Olavarrieta Yes, you can bypass the clutch switch. Unplug clutch switch and it has three wires to bypass The clutch switch you need to jump wire #1 and #3 and you won't need to press the clutch to start the engine.

I remove def and doc to clean I trap test them and reading b4c is 4 I put them in the oven to bake for 12 hours and run a regeneration and get a code that the Scr now conversion efficiency low truck needs more diagnostic check hooked up laptop followed drag def quality test passed continued with drag checked def pump bladder pis checked good ran the truck threw a regen came up with 2 new code terms señor active and sir outlet nox sensor signal not available checked connections made sure no broken wires then ran the truck threw another region numbers were a lot better regen completed code went inactive test took unit for test drive no issues found at this time and drove truck for the next 2 day and the light came back on shut down light came on did a park region light shut down light went off but check engine light is still on truck runs fine for 2 day and repeat process it seems to happens every time I idol the truck for a long period of time you think it has to do with anything with the fuel dozer injector being clogged or the def pump inlet filter screen can be clogged I have a DD15 2013 Freightliner Cascadia just looking for a few pointers to look into thanks
mike koger odds are you have a bad outlet box sensor. If you have access to diagnostic link I would unplug the def doser electrical connection and do a low temp ATD and watch the Nox readings.. they should be within 50ppm of each other.. with your outlet you want to make sure it isn’t drifting up and down.. during a regen. Another thing was a issue was def build up in system.. where your def doser is located it would build def .. some people have unplug def plug electrical connection and run mult back to back regen to burn off excessive def too.. good luck

Bad Nox sensors.

There is not much pressure, you can disconnect and just a little bit of fuel will be there.

Probably that is over fueling from the injectors or the dozer. Hard to tell.

To have a successful regen you have to have 1200 as high in the DOC outlet

You are having issue with the DEF temp sensor, it is located inside the DEF tank.
You can have a faulty harness or sensor

What about if it is not it getting enough fuel. My problem is the nozzle is not spraying enough. It doses at 10 % with 22psi. I just changed the doser block and nozzle ? Help this thing is killing me lol
also i think it may be stuck in doc face cleaning mode because it is build more pressure now 38psi just not dosing when the doc inlet is 600+ it does self test but still no spraying currently i am letting the 4 hour regen go it says it will run a 45 min regen after it is done face cleaning have you done one of these before or ever ran into that problem

The dozing percentage should go up after the DOC outlet Temp reaches more than 900°
It was stuck in doc faceplug cleaning mode.. I had to let it run 4 hours and 45 min it finally started spraying. At first it wouldn't spray only the temps, would get up to 725 doc in / out dpf out.. then after doc face plug cleaning it started a regent.

This code means DEF pressure low.
Possible causes are:
Bad DEF pump
Bad DEF metering unit
Broken DEF lines
Etc,..

I can't pull the exact information about the code but the code number and the description tells me that the metering unit is not working properly.
It goes on the passenger side behind the side fender between the DPF filters and the fuel tank.
A shop charged me $489.00 to clean the dozer valve and the shit happened again the month later.
What could it be if the dozer injection is at 0%
What is the year and model of the truck?

I figured it out. It was covered it carbon I cleaned it out just like the video and ran a manual regen and it started working again. Doser was at 17% at the end of the regen.
How often you should clean the injector dozer? if you clean it do you still need the DDDL software to fix the lights or codes or it will clear up by itself? thank u Bro. Viva Francisco!

Bypass when you try to turn on the engine and have to press the clochet pedal, is any way to do that?

Yes, you can bypass the clutch switch.
Unplug clutch switch and it has three wires to bypass
The clutch switch you need to jump wire #1 and #3 and you won't need to press the clutch to start the engine.

I remove def and doc to clean I trap test them and reading b4c is 4 I put them in the oven to bake for 12 hours and run a regeneration and get a code that the Scr now conversion efficiency low truck needs more diagnostic check hooked up laptop followed drag def quality test passed continued with drag checked def pump bladder pis checked good ran the truck threw a regen came up with 2 new code terms señor active and sir outlet nox sensor signal not available checked connections made sure no broken wires then ran the truck threw another region numbers were a lot better regen completed code went inactive test took unit for test drive no issues found at this time and drove truck for the next 2 day and the light came back on shut down light came on did a park region light shut down light went off but check engine light is still on truck runs fine for 2 day and repeat process it seems to happens every time I idol the truck for a long period of time you think it has to do with anything with the fuel dozer injector being clogged or the def pump inlet filter screen can be clogged I have a DD15 2013 Freightliner Cascadia just looking for a few pointers to look into thanks
mike koger odds are you have a bad outlet box sensor. If you have access to diagnostic link I would unplug the def doser electrical connection and do a low temp ATD and watch the Nox readings.. they should be within 50ppm of each other.. with your outlet you want to make sure it isn’t drifting up and down.. during a regen. Another thing was a issue was def build up in system.. where your def doser is located it would build def .. some people have unplug def plug electrical connection and run mult back to back regen to burn off excessive def too.. good luck
