Kindles are everything. I carry mines every where with me. Also as a mom it makes reading 100 times easier especially when my kids want to be all over me.
I love my Kindle. I have 547 books on it. I can't imagine having that many physical copies. I will need a new house for it 😂 I have just my fav books on my shelves 68 and is to much already 😂

i use anna's archive because i am SO poor living on my own. Being a reader is expensive in this current economy, so i am thankful everyyyyday for my kindle. when i finish a book i usually will reward myself with a copy of it, if i really liked it.

I got my kindle about a year and a half ago and I love it. As a Canadian I love kindle unlimited. I read so much faster with the kindle then a physical book some how :) It makes travelling so much better
I got my first kindle when I was 11 and now I'm 21, so I'll alwaaays be a kindle advocate lol. My first kindle lasted 8 years and I only upgraded 2 years ago, so you KNOW you're getting your money's worth. As much as I absolutely love reading physical books, you can't deny that owning a kindle is muuuch cheaper and travel friendly! I mean imagine carrying 200+ books in your tiny shoulder bag and reading whatever, whenever?? It's a win-win girlies

How is the one-handed reading experience with the PW? I had the Oasis, and now I have the Kobo Libra 2, both of which have page-turn buttons that are really helpful for one-handed reading.
I also switch in between physical book and kindle when I travel or want to read comfortably in bed, maybe I start on the physical book, turn off the lights and continue on my kindle
Good overview... I've Never had a e-reader(LOVE physical books) I've noticed that I'm not buying books as much($$$$ Candian as well) and not reading(or even rereading) as much, as a result. Kindle Paperwhite(16gb) $159 CND vs Signature $209(32gb) CND... Still haven't made up my mind, although I DO like the versitility of the Signature. If you get heavily into Audo, or Comics etc. the extra memory may be something useful. The main issue with E-Books are that they are NOT expandible if you get into "other" things. You HAVE to upgrade, great business idea but... Now you do have cloud storage, but having my library elsewhere that I don't have control over isn't something that makes me very comfortable. Kindle Ulimited... you can cacel at any time. Then hook up again if you want.
Something i wished that books came with a qr codes that would work with kindles so when i’m going out i can read my books without taking them with me. 😭😭 some books are heavy and i’d rather keep them intact at home than musty on the road/plane wherever else.
as a flight attendant is aaaaalways hard to bring like 3 paperbacks with me. this is gonna be this year’s christmas gift for me, thanks for convincing me. 😂

There is no going back. Physical books are for when I don’t have electricity or internet sooo basically like when I am stuck in a post-apocalyptic warzone. Kindle way more gooder. People forget that we have free access to public libraries to rent books!! They may not have some of the super new books but still a better idea than buying a brand new book every time
Depends on the country. My country is so crappy with public libraries. Some areas don’t have public libraries, and most of the areas that do have only about 75 books, all being textbooks from the 1950s.
What device do you use to hear your kind ? I just got one but haven’t decided on if I want ear buds or something like you have I would appreciate it . A lot of people use Adobe premier pro to add sound to their videos. ❤ it’s the editing software. And then you can use music from epidemic sound along with premier pro (another option is Final Cut Pro I believe)
Trying to decide between Kindle or iPad mini. I don't plan on getting Kindle Unlimited. I don't read too much. I just plan on using Libby on it. For my purposes, it may be better I just get iPad mini. I feel that Kindle is only worth it if you're getting Kindle Unlimited. I want to use Hoopla too, but it cannot work on Kindle.

My problem is, I am such a Dinosaur I would get the Kindle but if I loved the story I would also buy the Book. I would just end up spending more money, not less. I love REAL books too much A Kindle would really only come in handy if I was on vacation and I don’t do that enough.

What is the difference between the Paperwhite and Paperwhite signature edition?
PWS has 32 GB, really overkill unless you download a lot of manga or audiobooks. It also has auto light level and wireless charging.

My problem is, I am such a Dinosaur I would get the Kindle but if I loved the story I would also buy the Book. I would just end up spending more money, not less. I love REAL books too much A Kindle would really only come in handy if I was on vacation and I don’t do that enough.
