Pros
- Folding drone with carrying case for portability.
- Weighs well under 250 grams, and does not require registration in most countries.
- OK, the camera is not the best on this drone. But it is an excellent flier for new pilots to hone their skills with. It's also very inexpensive, making it an appropriate drone for beginners to also make their inevitable mistakes with.
- 3.7V 1800mah battery provides approximately 7 minutes flight time. Additional batteries may be bundled at time of purchase.
- Control range of up to 100 meters.
- FPV in-flight video can be viewed ands recorded on your smartphone using the WiFi_Cam app available on Google Play here bit.ly/WiFi_Cam and the AppStore here bit.ly/WiFi-Cam . This app uses common 2.4Ghz Wifi, available on most phones.
Cons
- No SD card recording capability. Video is recorded to your phone over WiFi with inherent video lag and dropped video frames.

How is the drone till now does it works or its broken
I just got this, I like it. Also, if anyone hasn’t already mentioned, in order to flip it. Press flip button, it beeps, and then flick the “yaw” or right toggle stick to the left or right and it will flip.
How much weight could it lift
Perfect drone for first time users. Definitely not a HD drone, as advertised. But, if you're new to drone flying, get it. And use the affiliate links provided. This guy works hard to create videos for your pre-buyer information. Thanks for the vid

Thanks for your review. We are full time campers and the kids want a drone. Didn't want to dump money in a "hobby" that they will toss aside quickly if they don't like it or break it. Definitely getting this

I just got my E88 drone and it does have a obstacle avoidance mode,all one has to do is hold the gear button for 3 seconds to activate it thank heavens 😁😁 thanks for posting this!

Lol. The flip button works on your drone, you need to push the direction you want it to flip Left Right forwards backwards. But I would not advise doing it but it works really good for a cheap beginners drone
Hey! Maldivian drone pilot here, my friend crashed my drone into the jungle recently, its the drone pro E88 but it was full balck. One of its motors isn't spinning but luckily my uncle will fix it in a few days inshallah 🙂

For what you pay, you're getting a good deal. No GPS, but it's okay.

Yeah, this is strictly toy grade. But it is a good cheap drone to learn the basics of drone flight.
You're right. Ya don't need optical flow to hold position,but although hold is the best feature for any quad. Throttle management sucks.

You can flip it 360 degree after pushing the flip button by flicking the right analog button to a direction while hearing the rapid beeps
The phone isn't 2.4 GHz, the controller is... 2.4 Ghz is 25 year old cordless phone tech, hence it being used in cheap drones.
Modern phones are, generally, transmitting Wifi on 5.0 Ghz frequency.
If they were both 2.4 GHz, the device would be unflyable.
That's actually better camera than i expected. Would be satisfied if my 30$ "8k" drone will come with a similar quality picture.
maybe clicking the 360 flip, then on the right joystick choosing left or right for the direction for it to flip would help

It Actually broke After That When i started Flying again The Motor Jammed Crashing It Mid Air Unfortunately There Is No Easy way to replace Them so I Took The Camera Out To Try And Build An FPV RC Car

How high does it fly up to? And how long does each battery last?... I have an option to buy up to 3 batteries, what do you think??! Please let me know!!...
About 50 meters height. About 7 minutes per battery. I wouldn't fly 3 batteries back to back on this, as you might overheat the motors. Allow a 15 minute cooldown period between flights to prolong longevity of the motors.
The flip works but when you press the button you have to move the joystick at the side you want it to flip!

What were the wind conditions when you were flying the drone? I just got the drone for Christmas and I live in North Dakota, which is a very windy state. I would also like to know what wind conditions you would recommend for this drone.
Under 10 mph would be best for this drone.

Got this drone and freaking love it for the spec and budget friendly, connects my phone fine BUT i cant get it connect to the controller doesnt telle how connect it?
Just hit the calibration button once or twice and you can run with controller

Yep, if you want a better camera, you'll need to pay more than $30 for a drone.
How do I program it to the remote?
Help...mine turns on and when I do the up arrow, it goes up a few inches and then forward at full speed till it crashes into something.

What's the weight of the e88 do you have any idea. Like u say if you want a 4k drone u buy a dji like a car if u want a rolls royce you don't buy a soda although skodas are good they are a rolls royce u get what you pay for. Thanks for the video cheap as chips as they say.

Nice drone to fly
Nice review... but that FPV video looks like not even 720p. Looks like 480p at best. I have original cheap "mavic clone" Eachine E58 and it takes much sharper video than that. Aside from camera quality, one thing to note with these cheap E88 drones is that many of these drones are "runners". Even when these E88 drones lose signal from controller, they keep going... going and going until they are gone and lost forever. Not all E88 drones behave like this, some E88 drones power down when they lose signal from controller. But you can't tell what you are getting as these E88 drones are manufactured by so many companies.
With all due respect (love your videos), I'm quite surprised that you did not mention that the control sticks on the transmitter are not true proportional joysticks. Rather they are simple switches. Nothing happens when you gradually move a stick then you reach a point and suddenly its full input. Very imprecise. Very toyish. Should be immediately apparent to an experienced drone pilot that these are no fun and a beginner would lose interest quickly.
Actually they are proportional. There may be something wrong or different with your drone. Again, my sticks were fully proportional.
I checked mine again. From center to half stick in any direction on either stick I have a complete dead zone where nothing happens. I bought 2 of these from Aliexpress for $12 ea. I'll check the second one and post back. Overall for $12 they are great flyers. I could care less about the cameras.@@Quadcopter101
Many an Aliexpress vendors is known to resell defective returned drones at greatly reduced prices.

E88 is easier to fly than e58
Yeah I started with an F something racing drone I still to this day can't run that thing
why the light of my battery won't go blue or green it light red and then it will turn off.
Some have different chargers. Yours sounds like it turns red when charging, and turns off when charged.

I have this drone and when i start it up and just push up it flies to left and right and i can’t just get it to hold position and im scared it’s going to crash.. With little to no wind how can i make this drone stay put in one place when flying
This drone does not have optical flow auto hover. You have to manually keep it in place using the left control stick. This takes practice. Recommend practicing in a large open area, focusing simply on maintaining its position in hover. Once you can successfully do that without crashing, then proceed on practicing forward flight. The SG108 does not have SD card recording capability. All video is recorded over WiFi. As such, its video will be somewhat similar to this drone. Do you still want me to review it?

Do the drone need to be wifi connected to the phone directly or the connexion is between controller and phone ? Also, does it need internet 4G ?
You should connect your phone to the drone's WiFi before opening the app. And this drone does not use internet at all, and should work with most phones.

Do you mean the video? If so, turn on the drone. Then open your phone's WiFi settings. Look for the drone's WiGi signal in the settings, and connect to it (same way as connecting to home WiFi, except no password needed). Once connected to the WiFi, then open the app. The video signal should now be viewable in the app.

Hey with these type of batteries that go in the e88 do you have to worry about your charging method. I hear stories of only charging them 40% and maintaining that over periods of time of not using it. I also hear that you cannot let them go below a certain charge or it ruins the battery. And you're not supposed to keep them fully charged over long periods of time. My other question is when the lights start flashing to tell you the batteries low is that the programming telling it to land before it depletes the battery below zero.
It's all lithium batteries. You can't go under the critical voltage or it's absolutely done.

It should have landed when it lost signal from the controller. You should find it about about 70 to 100 meters (about 200 to 300 feet) from where you were standing when you lost sight of it.
This isnt a "beginners, learning" drone. The "Four axis" drones are beginners level. E88's and E89 drones are "novice" drones.
These drones do flips just fine. He's just unfamiliar with this device.
To execute the flip, tap the flip button, then quickly press up on the right (travel) control stick.

Beeping controller means tired batteries that need replaced. Make sure that you are using fresh batteries in the controller.
