Recently I bought the Boston 12 and I really loved it Adidas killing it these days
I love these shoes. They are a great mix like you say of firm and soft. Nothing exciting, but perfect for my daily easy runs that make up the majority of my training. Tried the Adidas SL, but that was wayyy too firm. I can see these shoes being a staple for me and can't wait for more colors.

I'm actually raving about the Supernova Rise because the midsole foam has the right softness and firmness to my liking. For me it's the daily trainer which will not tempt me to go faster. As a fan of Adidas I'm happy that I have an Adidas daily trainer that I really like.
one of the reason I watch your running footages (and FOD Runner's) is because my feet also pronates but not to the point where I feel like I need stability shoes (same like both of you). So when watching your footages I take note which shoes seem to make you pronate more.
And honestly, this shoe doesn't seem to make your feet pronate more than other shoes you've reviewed. Of course, in the end you will know better because you can feel it. That's just my observation.
I really didn’t notice it from the front but from the back it seemed slightly more noticeable!
I tried it in the store. I like the cushion in the front and the wider fit (compared to Sacouny) so it doesn't hurt my baby toe. Also felt a like of cushion in the back which I didn't mind so much. The mesh is not too thin or thick so feet won't feel too cold on rainier cold days in Vancouver, Canada. Quality is very good and beautiful design. I have flat feet pronation now and bunion (due to too much hiking in no cushion shoes and running). so I am worried about the same thing as you on how the back of the shoe is slanting. I spent $400 on orthotics so I don't need to add more tilt towards the inside of my strides. that's the only reason I haven't bought the shoe.

Good review and yes the shoe looks good! I do not know why they design the heel that way. Several years ago I had the Boost and could not wear them due to that heel design leading to an awkward foot strike. 🤷

I saw this shoe and came strait to you.
I ran in a pair of demo shoes during TRE-2023 in Austin. This shoe is being talked (hyped) about by a lot of UA-cam channels, but my personal opinion is probably "the unpopular opinion" I am a bit disappointed with the energy return.
Like you said many channels are saying Dreamstrike+ is a PEBA based foam but I am not so sure and I haven't seen an official statement or comment by an Adidas representative. This shoe is not riding like other PEBA based shoes I have or tried (Endorphin Speed 1/2/3, Mach X, Deviate Nitro 2). There is hardly any bounce. It is rather dull. I even get better energy return from my pair of 2017 Supernova Boost which I ran my first marathon in. Perhaps it is a blend of PEBA with something else and not pure PEBA (if there is at all). The EVA rods at the bottom are probably nerfing the shoe as well.
The excessively plus heel collar and tongue is adding to the weight. The shoe could have saved at least an ounce of weight. Although the price is right for a daily trainer and I liked the outsole rubber coverage, there are better daily trainers from other brands. I would pick Triumph 20/21 or the new Ride 17 over this shoe. Coming Triumph 22 will switch to PWRRUN PB (PEBA) and I am eagerly waiting for that update.
That said the shoe looks cool and I might get a pair at discount later for causal use or for gym.
Just want to add something about the heel: this geometry is called a heel bevel, and in theory it should feel more natural to run in for heel strikers. It mimics the heel bone, and is also closer to where most people strike with the heel. Not perfectly centered, but more to the outer side of the foot. Most Adidas shoes have this, New Balance and Asics too, but less significant.
But different geometries for different people, we don't all run the same. I'm no physio so I can't say how this affects pronation tho :/

Yeah wonder why one would buy this over a discounted Boston 12? @runlikeheller also how does it compare to the Clifton?
I ran in a pair of demo shoes in Adidas event. I am personally disappointed. I didn't run in Boston 12 but this shoe has no where near bounce of Takumi Sen or Endorphin Speed 1/2/3 or Hoka Mach X. The shoe felt dull and only suitable for easy miles. The heel counter and tongue are excessively plush. I personally think this shoe is over hyped by shoe tubers.
Betting the Rebel V4 with its PEBA will be a good competitor to this.

A gnarly drop just robs cushioning from the mid/forefoot of the shoe. It nearly always bothers me!
Adidas is hit or miss with me fitting wise.
Price point isn't bad tho so who knows, I may have a look at them.
Do these return more energy than the Novablast 4s?

If you’re looking for a super trainer to try I’d suggest maybe something like the Hoka Mach X, if the Sc Trainer V2 isn’t working for you! It’s a bit stiffer so might help slightly with over pronation and it still has a nice pop to it!
