I think part of art is coming to terms with your confidence waxing and waning at different stages of your progression and finding a way to sit safely with both. Enjoy the purple patches of high creativity along with the times it’s more mechanical. So glad you feel better with where you are right now
So true. It's funny, after making this video, I've been going through a bit of a "bleh" period - so I keep reminding myself to take my own advice and find my teachers.
Wonderful words of wisdom! Art is very personal and tells a story - your story! If I’m drawn to a painting it’s usually because it somehow harmonizes with my story. I’m grateful there is so much art in different styles to fill up the world. You are definitely contributing to that mission. Keep up your confidence! If it makes you happy then that is the most important thing.
Beautifully said. I'm only starting my art journey now (I'm about 2-3 years in) and even though I dabbled in different art forms just for funzies...I now am trying to be more serious about it. Life experience does help...you don't get too caught up in your head as much. Well, that's my experience...after life throws you some serious lemons, art is more of an expression rather than a 'must make this perfect or good enough'. Your vlogs are always so relaxing...I tend to be on the go so much as a single mom and your videos help me to pause.
You're so right, life experience makes a huge difference if you let it. I couldn't imagine being as competitive and jealous as I used to be now, I'd be so unhappy. I am so comfortable with my art journey these days. It's so nice to hear how my videos help you. Thank you for sharing
😊 Thank you! Words of understanding and encouragement are hard to come by these days, and we all have to hear them from time to time. Thank you ❤

Margaret Olley once said that you don’t need to have a degree to be an artist. I reckon your art is good and I enjoy watching your videos.
@@bluedogbluey6742 I agree. I believe anyone can teach themselves to be an artist ☺️ thank you for watching ❤️
