Instagram really had you make a “every room is a different color” challenge house
Just in case you're curious - kitchen triangle is basically a "rule" that says that stove, fridge and a sink should be on three ends of a triangle (any triangle), so that it is more comfortable to move around the kitchen.. Not sure how it works tho this sounds more like rich people big kitchen vibe

Yeah
I think if you're on the Asian/Chinese home decor community, its gonna be a whole new ballgame with furniture placements and fengshui. Also with Asian households, we're not used to having entryways, and usually walking right into living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens are pretty common layouts here.
i always put rugs like you do at the foot of the bed. it looks so wrong against the wall….
i agree!!! maybe the rugs in the game just aren't the right sizes...
@@sarahkendall i think maybe if the room was bigger and it wasn’t touching 3 walls… idk… i still like the foot of the bed for a rug better hehehe. less cramped some how

Regarding the conversation pit in the pool: if you extend the basement without removing the roof you can put the stairs where you want 😄

this was an interesting challenge makes me actually want to get back into sims4 (been in a lull) - suggestion for a future design challenge - maybe follow the rules of feng shui? could be interesting to see the differences between the "design rules"
Honestly, just make your house however you think it looks nice lol I remember seeing this girl who drew a logo for a cafe and the owner didnt like it and said it was too cold and then she redrew it and he loved it, but she said it went against everything her logo design class had taught her, but her whole comment section loved the 2nd edition. So basically, its possible for the "professionals" to be wrong :P
