Simple Pine Bench

Here is a beefy pine bench I made to add more seats at a small dining room table.
The bench is made out of Knotty Pine and the wooden dowels are Walnut. I wanted a bulky design but decided to add some curves so soften it up around the edges. The whole thing was sanded with 220 grit sandpaper and finished with Tung Oil. Plans are available on my website linked above.

I have to pay through the nose for pine. All our 2x4's are made from spruce. It's the worst.
