This man should be honored with induction to the Mets Hall of Fame. He earned it by being drafted by the Mets at age 17 and playing his entire career with the team that drafted him until 1979. He was truly an original Met, and has more than earned this honor. Please, please, honor this man while he is still with us to enjoy it.

I remember the HR Eddie hit in the WS 69 . It looked to me a no doubter , it think 🤔 it was a scoreboard job ( ah la Jim Gentile Colt 45’s . I was there in 1964 ) , it was Eddie Kranepool who handed me the MVP Trophy ( 64-65) at the Knights of Columbus at the BBB Little League Baseball Dinner. Eddie said to me “how can such a little guy be so good “ ? , l answered “ l don’t know “. I didn’t know l was going to win , should have brought my Sisters Polaroid Camara. I am glad to see Eddie Kranepool doing well enjoying Met Talk with MR.J . I am looking forward to seeing him hit in the old timers game with PR from in back of the batters box if must be. Full Time Part Time or PH or anywhere , it’s nice to see Eddie Kranepool the stand up Met .🕵🏻‍♂️⚾️⚾️⚾️

How great it is to see Ed again. I went to my first Mets game in 1968 and remember the players from that era fondly.
