We are eating good when it comes to Mandos! Currently my opinion on these is--Figuarts has the best movement/articulation, Mafex has the best accessories, BS looks the best in a static pose. Because of these things I can't let go of any of them yet, even though I usually try to limit myself to one figure of a character in a specific outfit.
Have the original version and that one had its fair share of issues as well. The right arm on mine was loose and the plastic Mafex used made it very difficult to pop out the shoulder even with heat. Popping it back in was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a figure. I really hope they improved the tolerances and tightness of the joints on this figure rather than it being a 1:1 copy with different details and accessories.
the black series glavis ringworld mando is amazing, but it does have one major issue, the grip for the hands is really loose so he can't really hold the knife or the dark saber very well. I am contemplating this figure though.
I was waiting so much for your review of this one, now I don’t know if I should pick it tbh, so you saved me 100bucks, thank you and I hope your luck change for good 🍀
Yeah, idk which one to get? Mafex is $85 shipped, but comes with a ton of accessories. BS is only $30 no accessories but pretty darn good for the price.
I’m not hating on this guys poses, they look epic, but you should see The Lethal Collectors poses. Especially his poses of his top 10 fav figures of each year
Does anyone know if the HIYA 4 inch gi joe figures are officially licensed and so maybe has a future? Looks like they are ALL IN with so many figures available for pre-order? Vehicles? The DREDD figures and vehicle are incredible and the 1/12 RAMBO would look great amongst the joes and action force ..really any 6inch line. Love to see it on this channel. As well as the 4inch joes ! I've never messed with HIYA are they akin to acid rain or joy toy? If I pre-order all the gi joe figures will I be waiting for months or years ? Will they be dribbled out one at a time or will they all drop together ? Anyone who can share experience or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
Definitely didn’t experience that torso cracking issue with my 1.0 Mafex mando- I would put the fault at Medicom’s QC, not you, for the torso cracking with movement.
The Hasbro Glavis Mando is honestly the one to go with unless you really want the boatload of accessories that this one comes with. The BS has a nicer helmet(imo) and better torso articulation.
good review bro it s really a nice fig, fits all spaces nicely [shelves, dios, desk] with it s metal colour scheme movement? well, it s an armour, so... ok I m not into sw, too poor, too small space, and... they don t scale well with Joes barge Leia looks early teen, almost inappropriate.. end of story I d pick robots, as the tall slim one, but we ll see some bro news I m still on that urban building dio grey - light - dark, stones, and turquoise green bricks 2 story, floors - ceiling done I m at the frames, door - windows - brown paint, then glue it s going well oh, I m going for the throne Cobra arena section instead of 2 ruin scenes I ll study the MASS cartoon for inspiration the scene where Duke fights the barbarian and CC - Destro controls them but I want to include high rank special seats next to CC... so now you know... good show bro
I hate how any company in 2024 is giving us single joints... Double joints are the standard there is no world in which single joints should ever be a thing...
@@glennjthompson332 Obviously i understand you its a horrible decision, just make a deeper cut or something jesus christ these companies sometimes forget it doesnt cost more to have good articulation
@@glennjthompson332 That would be amazing, someone actually made a custom mezco inspired Mando and he is awesome. I dont know why they dont start doing Star Wars figures its right up their alley.
Hi I used to go to the store u worked at in image animate to buy Tamiya paints I wanted to ask if u know another place were I can see the paints and pick them. Seems image animate was the only place I could do that . Do you know of another place in the city or near ?
This figure is a dumpster for the price. The new Black Series Mando (Glavis Ringworld) blows it out of the water in terms of articulation and playability. I can't believe that a toy company signs off on a figure with single joints that can barely hit 90 degress and a torso that is so tight/hindered that it cracks the sculpt when moved. $100 and a year of waiting for nothing.
Yeah, idk which one to get? Mafex is $85 shipped, but comes with a ton of accessories. Black Series Glavis Ringworld is only $30, no accessories, but pretty darn good for the price.
Proportions wise this and the new black series one look good, but articulation wise i keep hearing praises for the SHF V3
The new SHF version moves really damn well. The biggest gripe I have is the paint. It’s like a light metallic black.
@@Ryan_TheBold nothing that some customizing can't fix, of course you shouldn't fix figures but if there's no other way...
The new SHF has a tiny head and is much smaller than mafex or black series.
Gonna pop apart that torso when i get mine in and see if any modifications can be made to open up that torso articulation.

For the 1.0 Mafex used a strange butterfly ball joint combo for the way the arms connected to the torso...it was a pain in the a**.
This has to be one of my favorites
Great to see you reviewing this figure. Waiting for mine.

The new black series Mando has almost no torso articulation.
Yeah that Torso cracking has me quite concerned....
Dope review bro! 🔥🔥🔥
So i think i should lay off on the mafex 2.0 ver. And re pick other character figures
I was waiting so much for your review of this one, now I don’t know if I should pick it tbh, so you saved me 100bucks, thank you and I hope your luck change for good 🍀
The torso cracking gives me concern. I haven’t opened mine yet. Maybe I’ll just stick with the new black series one.

I'm worried about the gauntlet things falling off and getting lost. Do they fall off easily?
If they fall off easy...use a tiny bit of blue tack
Man this just made it even harder to pick between shf and mafex 😅 Hope your luck turns around tho man. Keep going
do you have any plans to review the amazing yamaguchi flash? would love to hear your thoughts on him or reverse flash
How come you've never reviewed a single Amazing Yamaguchi?

PLease, do not use this scenario anymore, cause it makes to hard for look the figure.
Don't know why Mafex give some figures single jointed knees. Feels like a downgrade.

The articulation is pretty disappointing for the price. I have the 20 dollar black series Beskar one and that has way better articulation
I don't mean to be rude but when is your review of the Super7 Destoroyah coming?
❤
The articulatuon still sucks
The accessories are good, but that’s about it. Proportions are still off in some areas. The new BS is better
