- Woke up on edge about this trip as rain was forecasted to hit our region. I kept hearing rain as the night passed into morning, and I'm like is this trip gonna go down. Well I was drizzling but the sun made its appearance at the dawn. We headed to the meet up and drove down. Rain was hitting again but too late we were committed to go explore. It rain so hard at one point but we embraced to see our beautiful country. I think it was more of a baptism cleansing us away from corruption. Had such a never ending experience.
Yessirrr beautiful adventure
Love the adventure ❤
I want to come on the adventure! 😊
Lets go!!!!
Hi why is the place called Viva la force? Could you please find out? Also, if you'd like another content, could you please do a series interviewing elderly Amerindians on their views about Essequibo and what their ancestors have told them regarding Essequibo? Thanks
Translated into french vive la force means long live the force. I think its named after the force of the water or canal that runs along this village. Its also know as long dam. Yes I plan on going back in the summer and would be pleased to speak with the elders about the Essequibo. I have a future video were I speak with a amerindian about taking a long hike through the rain forest with him. Peace
I'd like to know why those places are called Santa....means "Saint"
The history is a bit vague and tangled about these villages history and founding. For sure missionary work.
Aratac in Latin means Plow.
Essequibo=I will do it
Kumuni= common
Theres a lot of Latin terms used in the naming of landmarks in Guyana
