Just a quick drive thru to the Vreed en Hoop stelling, was to busy to park up and do a walk. Then we go searching for the shore base construction site, found it but it was closed off.

Woke up on edge about this trip as rain was forecasted to hit our region. I kept hearing rain as the night passed into morning, and I'm like is this trip gonna go down. Before we headed out to Georgetown we enjoy a good lunch consisting of Mutton Curry with Roti mmmmm. I should have captured more meals being prepped, it was all so delicious that my mind was concentrated on capturing all the essence, spices and freshness. For some reason the food and all just taste so much better here.

The history is a bit vague and tangled about these villages history and founding. For sure missionary work. Aratac in Latin means Plow. Essequibo=I will do it Kumuni= common Theres a lot of Latin terms used in the naming of landmarks in Guyana

Translated into french vive la force means long live the force. I think its named after the force of the water or canal that runs along this village. Its also know as long dam. Yes I plan on going back in the summer and would be pleased to speak with the elders about the Essequibo. I have a future video were I speak with a amerindian about taking a long hike through the rain forest with him. Peace

U do not have to take a photo but there's no point the airport has cameras everywhere so ur getting ur photo taken anywas
Yes theres cameras all over as its a public venue. The photo they request to take of you is for biometric data pertaining to persons of interest. I choose to exercise my right when trespassed, I respect others right to go with it. Im no criminal nor have any ill intent so why do I need to take off my shoes and be patted down for weapons and mug shot taken. Take a look and understand who it pertains too.
