I still love mine, especially for the price. If you don't know how to do some maintenance or setup stuff though, it might not be worth it.

Well...if you know what you're buying and don't mind the work, this is an awesome mod platform. Pickup swap, bridge swap, tuner swap, now somewhere sub $300, and you have a gig machine that you can "oops" and not cry over.
Mine now plays awesome. What's in a name brand if it sounds like it's supposed to without spending $4000? Do you play to look good or do you play to sound good? I think that's what it comes down too. I just wanna play. That being said, it IS a brick. Heaviest Tele I have. NOT a beginner guitar, as the setup requirements require a good level of "get right" knowledge.

Exactly! I don't gig out much, or at all anymore; but THIS will sound cooler at a camp night with my Donner battery powered amp! I've REALLY enjoyed jamming on it since I got it. I think that the harder/heavier wood is also what might be helping the great sustain!
      Thanks for watching!

@@eclipsetheraindanbutler2478 yeah no doubt, and the neck profile is pretty good too. The ladies dig my surf green ax!

I literally laughed out loud when you panned over the bridge saddles🤣

@Utoobsteak it was an EASY fix, but they will DEFINITELY be replaced. 😆 I have honestly played on this guitar every day since I got it, and I absolutely LOVE the feel of it and the tones that I get out of it! I own 2 PRS SEs, and love them, but I don't play them as much as this one!
Although.... my 24 Custom Floyd has really been calling my name lately. Curiously... now that I think about it 🤔 the GEARIT is as heavy as the PRS... I have no idea what wood is supposed to be in my PRS.
